~CROSSING THE FINISH LINE~

My Mr. AGPMan have been involved in a whirlwind of activity for the past several weeks and it culminated in a huge family celebration over this past weekend!  We proudly watched our beautiful daughter, Adrienne, walk across the stage on Friday afternoon at the University of Central Oklahoma to receive her college diploma.  We are overjoyed for our only daughter and we couldn't hold back the tears as she was handed her diploma.  Her degree is in General Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice.
In 2003 Adrienne graduated from high school and in 2007 she married her beloved, Micah.  They PROMISED they would finish school and indeed they both have!  Micah graduated on Saturday (their class was so large the University had to split the ceremonies into four) with a degree in Criminal Justice.
It's taken our girl and her hubby ten long years to complete their courses of study and to cross the finish line. I'm also thrilled to tell you (with a big, happy grin) they are graduating debt-free.  An amazing fete to say the least where lots and lots of sacrifices were made along the way.  It can be done!

After a large party filled with family and friends we are excited about the future for our kids.  We are blessed...so blessed.

This week I'm going to try my best and refocus now on some work...website restocking (which continues to suffer with empty shelves) and my new booth space at Serendipity Market in Edmond, OK.  Back to life as I've known it.

Hope your week is fab!

Love to you...

~ONE STEP AT A TIME~

~HARD AT WORK MOVING MY BOOTH~

I've shared with you many times over the past four plus years (golly...has it been THAT LONG???) how much I love the writings of Max Lucado~

Late Saturday evening a passage in his book, Traveling Light, spoke to me.  After two very, very busy weeks I was feeling totally overwhelmed and found myself worrying about this, that and everything in-between...  You know...just life stuff...

Lucado shared this:

Arthur Hays Sulzberger was the publisher of the New York Times during the Second World War.  Because of the world conflict, he found it almost impossible to sleep.  He was never able to banish worries from his mind until he adopted as his motto these five words--

"ONE STEP ENOUGH FOR ME"
(taken from the hymn "Lead Kindly Light")

God isn't going t let you see the distant scene either.  So you might as well quit looking for it.  He promises a lamp unto our feet, not a crystal ball into the future.  We do not need to know what will happen tomorrow.

God is leading you.  Leave tomorrow's problems until tomorrow."

~~*~~

This morning I'm so grateful to be in a position of not only doing what I love, but enjoying it with my biggest earthly supporter, my husband, by my side.  I couldn't do what I do without him...

I also want to say a huge thank you to the women God placed in my physical path today.  I don't know who you are personally, but your encouragement, enthusiasm, kindness and grace will never be forgotten.

You blessed me.

Someday I hope to repay you.

Love to you...

~WHEN TO SEW and WHEN NOT TO SEW~

We are back today working on my new Booth Space for the fourth straight day.  Pergola is up and painted and the doors are being hung in the window (and the shutters) later this afternoon...if all goes right I hope to be ready for business again by Saturday!  Whew!

I'm MORE than exhausted, but looking forward to everything being done and hopefully beautiful!

Had to share this clipping about sewing sent to me by my niece.  I laughed so hard and then did a HUGE EYE ROLL!  So happy for progress!!!  When I think of the times I've worked in an old scrubby t-shirt and my PJ bottoms with my hair ratted out with no lipstick I have to smile big!  If I think too long about WHAT I'm going to sew then I lose all focus and inspiration.  I certainly have warmed up my machine with a sink full of dirty dishes (or rather forgotten to hit the START button on my dishwasher!) and I'm not even sure I understand the thing about the chalk!  I just jump in with both feet hands swinging...that is my motto!

More pictures tomorrow...
