~JUST TO MAKE YOUR SMILE...Life is Soooo Good!~

Today I'm thankful that true friendship lasts forever...
and lives on even when life is cut short~

Today I'm thankful I can still run and play...
And act totally silly!  (Who cares anyway?)
Today I'm thankful my children love me...(in spite of my imperfection!)~
And that my daughter, Adrienne, still loves hanging out with her Mom (last Saturday on our way to the Oklahoma City Ballet)!

~~*~~

Thank you, God, for showing me again yesterday morning while sitting in the service that celebrated the life of my longtime friend that...

LIFE IS GREAT and...

LIFE IS AWESOME and...

LIFE IS WONDERFUL and...

LIFE IS PRECIOUS and...

LIFE IS FABULOUS and...

SOOOOO WORTH LIVING!

Blessings to you as you make your way through your own beautiful life today.  May you love every single step of your journey...

Love to you~

  1. Reminds me of my best friend Sam who just divorced her husband of 35+ years..... That is a story of it's own..... & she moved to Florida from here in NE Pa.
We talk on the cell all the time but I so miss her!

  3. Rebecca- What a wonderful post. I still feel young-at-heart even though SweetCheeks insists I am RWEALLLY OWLD! Those kids keep me young and involved in life. You and your daughter are both beauties...and the wonderful thing is, Becca baby- that you are as beautiful inside as you are on the outside...a special union indeed! xxoo Diana

  5. Hello, Most Beautiful Rebecca, inside and out! What a sweet post and so true. You and your daughter are just beautiful ladies and how nice you can spend time with each other! My daughter and I are so close but she lives so far away.
We had just moved to Galveston in 1996 and you were here! :) Yes, that little church is still here but it got a lot of damage during the hurricane and I don't think it's ever been repaired. I'll pay more attention as I go by and try and remember and take a snap for you.
Have a beautiful weekend, sweet friend and you're always a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  6. My favorite of the photos you posted is of the older gal kicking a ball. The song on your playlist is nice too.

  7. Hi Rebecca
A really nice post. I can truthfully say that my two daughters and I are more like friends than mother and daughter.
We do many girlie things together, laugh a lot and enjoy each other's company.

  9. Sweet Rebecca, this is a wonderful post!! I had been feeling really yucky about growing older..."an age that I thought I would never have to be!" type of age... in fact a very dear friend and I had a discussion a couple days ago about this growing old thing. But God has put a couple messages under my nose since that conversation...such as this that truly makes me giggle. He cares so much for us!! Growing old doesn't have to be so bad! :)

You and your daughter are so gorgeous!! Daughters are the sweetest gift in the world...so thankful for mine!!!!

I hope the sun is shining for you today... life IS good... we must never forget that... although some days I too let my thoughts drift and ask God why certain things happen... then, I quickly tell myself He knows what He is doing... xoxo Julie Marie
