~FORGIVE ME BUT I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSELF~

~DUNCE OF THE DECADE NOMINEE~

I'm asking for forgiveness in advance for being totally SNARKY here today.  But, I just can't help myself!!!  I just can't!  Now you know that generally I only write about creating romantic decor for the home, my faith, my family or my longtime hubby-love, my Mr. AGPMan.  I rarely stray from those topics because quite frankly they include all of my favorite things...

That said, giving ANY attention to the DUNCE-HEAD shown in the top photo is truly out of the norm for me.  I guess I'm just having a moment of intense disbelief here and just can't keep myself from stating the obvious...

    I was quite a "fan" of this dunce until I watched him on a UK tv interview a few years back and was appalled at the suggestive comments he continuously made to the very attractive young female presenter. He was obnoxious. Ugh.

    The news said he was known for groping women. I mean Comeon. But what I feel is that that housekeeper worker with him for 20 years. So the boy (Bless that kid) is now 14. So in the 6th year of her employment he got her pregnant. And then she kept working for another 14 years. Wow. How could he do that to his wife, that blows me away! I bet she is really enraged by this point. I dont see her ever taking him back. A shame for all of the kids involved!

    I was really hoping that this very public couple could keep their marriage a good one. The outside appearance was only a physod. What a shame for both families.

    Never was a fan of his .... Seriously... The thing that bothers me the most is how the Media put one question to Maria about how she should have learned how to turn her head away like the rest of the Kennedy women have over the generations. That was just so wrong & so hurtful to her!!

    I truly believe he was the winner of the dunce of the decade while he was the governor of my beautiful state. But this is such a sad thing for his family. My heart goes out to them because between the media and their ridiculous questions then there is all the jokes they have to face. Such a shame!

    Denise...I totally agree with you. I feel for his children (all of them) and Miss M. In my heart I believe in time they will all heal... Mr. Dunce, however, is going to have to live with mountains of regret. Ultimately I hope it puts him on the right path in his life... I sincerely doubt he'll be back!

    Hi Rebecca, it just goes to show that we can't put our trust in "man" and there is only "One" who we can truly rely on. I too feel bad for his wife and children and the fact that the other woman stayed on in the house.
    While the Lord calls us to forgive it doesn't mean we have to bury our heads in the sand and think it won't happen again. Oi!!!
    Oh! I LoVe the pink dunce hat and think it fits quite nicely with the rest of your blog ;-).

    It is really sad, especially for all his kids, included the one he fathered with that woman. What is wrong with these people, here they have fame, furtune and everything else and they just throw it away. I don't feel sorry for him, I never expected that from him. He has alot of sucking up to do, if that helps I don't know, he hurt many. Another one on the list of adultery, like Spitzer, Clinton, Woods and the list goes on nd on. The media should stay away of his problems, this is between the family and him.

    HI SWEETIE~I JUST CAN'T WRAP MY BRAIN AROUND THIS ONE!! LIKE SERIOUSLY HOW LONG DID HE THINK HE COULD KEEP HIS INNOCENT LOVE CHILD IN THE CLOSET!! THEY SAY HE LOOKS JUST LIKE THE JERK!!!     I always had a feeling about him that he was like this..sorry..but I think some people high up in stardom think they are above us..and they can get away with this kind of stuff...I hate it all and feel so sorry for her and his kids..but the kids will forgive him.....but yes you are suppose to forgive ...but how much can a person take? Oh I dont know what some gals have seen in him anyway...

    Yep, Arnold looks like that Dunce cap fits perfectly! I just don't know about these fellas that forget they are married:-( Can you imagine having to keep that secret all these years?

    I pray that somehow they can all be happy! I feel sorry for all of them, except Arnold!

    I'm so sad for his wife and kids.

    Wouldn't it be nice if he was truly repentent.. and asked Jesus into his heart?

    I felt the same with Tiger. I just wish they would trust Jesus.

    What gets me is that these men (or women, as the case may be)always seem to think that their sins will never be found out. We just never learn, do we! They are all looking for fulfillment, happiness, or whatever in the wrong places whether it is drugs, alcohol, or illicit sex. Shame shame shame!

    This has been such a sad event in the lives of his wife and children. Truly a sad, sad thing. It makes me even more thankful for my own husband.
    I think you know that my husband did security for years for Bruce and Demi, and this is what broke their marraige up as well. Thank goodness she was able to forgive him and they have remained very close for the sake of their children. So important for the girls to have had this steadiness and my hat is off to Demi for seeing past her own hurt to make sure she did what was best for the girls.

    It all doesn't surprise me....Hollywood is full of sex-worshippers and immorality! so sad that children have to receive the brunt of their messes though! i feel so sad for children everywhere born to reap the consequences to their parent's (whether it is one parent or both) sins! my daughters received the brunt of their father's sin as we divorced.... it's a long story and i certainly won't go into details here...but i will never understand how anyone can choose a moment's folly over what is important...children, wife, marriage vows, and commitment to God!

    So sad....

    On a sweeter note, Rebecca, I love your sweet music! This evening I had your music playing as I was fixing dinner and busy around the house! :D

    It is so sad that these things happen. Be it he who is famous or someone who is not known at all, it is a terrible thing. My prayer is that God help us never to step in that path and walk that pathway, but to keep true to our mates to the end of our lives.

    I agree 100% that Arnold is the dunce of the century!I cannot believe that he could stoop soooooo low and cheat on his classy wife,Maria! Especially with the likes of that maid! Wow,he is scum in my book!I pray that his wife and HER children can get thru this publice humiliation!I have no sympathy for the maid and Arnie's so-called love child!Thank the LORD that we have MUCH better husbands!AMEN sister!

    This is really tragic. However, Maria has held her head up high with so much class & dignity. My heart just goes out to her for all the humiliation she & the children will have to endure. The Tabloids will have a field day with this one. I guess Arnie will have plenty of time now entertaining his "Bakersfield Bimbo". Sounds like Hollywood is distancing themselves from the inpregnator.

    I must say, that pink dunce cap suits the "governator." I wish these men would start thinking with their heads instead of their...ummm...egos.

    I understand that Prince William and Kate's upcoming trip to Cali includes a visit with our boy here. I hope they reconsider. Not the best example for a young couple just starting out.

    Now...I'm off to find my own wonderful hubbin and give him a big hug and a kiss!

    It is definitely a tragedy because it is the deceived wife and innocent children that suffer from the deceit of an unfaithful husband and father. My prayers are for healing and comforting for his wife and children.

    Rebecca, I love your photograph and fully agree with you. When I heard the news I was speechless. Much in the same way I was speechless with John Edwards and all of the other powerful men that have followed them. What are these men thinkong of and does no one in politics value the sanctity of marriage anymore.

    Hi Rebecca,

    Obviously Arnold isn't as smart as he thought he was! I read that this woman was pregnant the same time his wife was??

    A lot of men and women both just were never meant to marry....they should have remained single because of their straying habits. I can bet that Arnold never quit straying when he married and that there will be lots of other stuff surface now that he is divorcing.

    It really is mental cruelty to devote yourself to someone that doesn't feel the same way about you. Been there done that...got out after 21 years...lots of us women out there that have been down this road with unfaithful men.

    This is why I'm so totally blessed with my Thomas...took me 30 years to meet my soul mate.
