~~~ARE YOU SLEEPING? ARE YOU SLEEPING?~~~ Yes I Am! Yes I Am!

~SLEEPING AWAY~

I actually had something super fun (at least I think it is!) to show you today, but by the time you read this I'm going to be sleeping, sleeping and sleeping some more!

Why?

Well...because someone, something or WHATEVAH hacked into my A Gathering Place Website last night and unmarked all the things I had SOLD as AVAILABLE for purchase going back a full year.  It had been WAY TOO LONG since we'd backed up our files (um...that would be my Mr. AGPMan's responsibility because I don't know how to do it!) and so we (him!) had to do it manually (I just watched to make sure he got everything fixed right!) Har! Har!  :)  It took him us hours and hours and as you can see by the timing of this post it is now early in the wee morning hours...about 4:50AM.  We are finally going to bed... Bah!

I hope your day is wonderful...I do!  I plan to get up around, 10:00AM 11:00AM 12:00PM 5:00PM 8:00PM and then I will check and see what you all were up to today!   Hopefully tomorrow I'll be back with the post I was going to do today!

Sooo sorry...more soon!  PROMISE!

    So sorry that happened to you. I had just the opposite happen once, someone hacked in to my site and marked all of my things as sold...very single item. It took hours to fix. Grrrr

    WOW! That's horrible! It's so frustrating when you just can't fix it yourself sometimes. I depend on our sons who make a living working on computers.

    It's so taxing when something goes wrong like that. So glad you were able to recover from the problem!

    I would not think anyone could be so mean as to mess with your (or anyone's) site. They certainly did not learn how to be a nice person when they were young. That is sad. I could sleep today, but we have a SNOW DAY...so too much to do at home. Maybe I'll get some Christmas started.♥♫

    oh my words! I hate the tactics used by the sneaky hackers. If you put a analytics program on your website, you'll be able to at least monitor web addresses & visitors (it lets you know specifically who is visiting your site) it may help deter such actions. NOTHING is full proof but this may help you at least track down the computers/names of those who come to your site. Then you can compile your info vs time frame and maybe get lucky and find out who or how it was hacked. I have been using analytics for over 2 year now & it's amazing how much info i've been able to collect on people plugging into my etsy, blog & website.

    Good thing Mr.AGP man knows how to do all of this for you. I do hope that does NOT mean you have duo purchases to deal with. goodness knows that can really be messy.

    Oh my gosh........I'm so sorry. Why do people do things like that? Why would anyone think that was fun? I think they have too much time on their hands. And, so frightening too.

    I hope you're getting lots and lots of beauty sleep today........(not that you NEED beauty sleep, my friend!)

    Those LOST hours because of someone else are so aggravating! I lost so many hours concerning my website due to the ignorance of the company that initially set up my website in 2009. She went out of business and took all accounts down; including my domain. No website; no email... Lots of HOURS, and SLEEP and money it cost and precious time of my webmaster to get it all back up and running. Thank goodness the Domain is now in my name and hands... But WHY are people this rude?!
    Hope you will be feeling better today, and if not yet - tomorrow. Those are the moments we wish we had never started this but it will be well again.

    I don't know why someone would do that to your website. Maybe they don't realize how nice a person you are and that if they knew they would be ashamed. I'll pray for them.

    someone with a very jealous, mean-spirited, and evil mind would be the only one to do something so horrible to you...and any others...
    This person must feel threatened and insecure to even think of doing something like this...for what???? To get back at you because you are successful, well liked and so very talented??? It takes a really SMALL mind to work that way. I can only imagine the time it took for Steve to get everything fixed back in place...
    I am so sorry to hear this happened to you...you are such a sweet lady, who would want to hurt you so.....???
    I hope you slept with dreams of peace and love, knowing all was well.....
