~BLESSINGS FROM A SWEET BLOGGER FRIEND and Now It's My Turn To PAY IT FORWARD~

SWEET PRETTIES FROM A BLOGGER FRIEND

Even though I created my Blog back in February '08 I didn't actually start Blogging until January of this year. I could never have envisioned just where the journey of an on-line journal would take me or how much it would change my life! I thought I'd tell a handful of people a few stories, share a few creative tips and maybe...JUST MAYBE...find a new friend or two!

NEW AND VINTAGE MILLINERY BLOOMS
RIBBON ROSES, BUTTONS, LACE and FABRIC

Well...I've found more than just ONE or TWO new friends and one in particular has blessed me in such an AWESOME way over the past several weeks. So much so the blessings are hard to even comprehend!

LOVELY FINDS...I'M TOO EXCITED TO SPEAK

Two weeks ago when my hubby was out of town I received two big boxes that were filled to overflowing with over 50 rolls of ribbons, snippets of new and vintage laces, trims, cording, fringes, etc. You name it it was in the box! Thread, beads, straight pins, fabric...it was ALL THERE and so much more!

And all of it came from ONE precious LADY I met here in Blogland...

SIX VINTAGE SEWING MACHINE DRAWERS
(Be Still My Heart)

As I sorted through the menagerie of breathtaking pretties I couldn't help but think this woman was quite possibly the most generous person I'd ever "not met" in my life!

It took me several days to put all the goodies away and I still haven't stopped babbling about being so incredibly blessed by this lovely human being~ "Paying It Forward" doesn't even BEGIN to put into perspective what all she has done...

Just when I thought I'd come to grips with the magnitude of her giving I received two more boxes, again filled to the brim! Inside one of the Boxes I found the SIX vintage sewing machine drawers you see above! She also sent me an amazing wooden box, that along with the drawers will be PERFECT for painting!

GORGEOUS RIBBON ROSES
PINK, CREAM AND WHITE

Also included are bags and bags of sweet ribbon roses in pink, white and cream! Oh...and see those neat decorative balls below? They were in one of the first boxes...
DECORATIVE BALLS - PERFECT FOR MY COTTAGE

Saying "Thank You" doesn't even come CLOSE to sharing how I feel. When I asked if I could write a POST naming her as my benefactor she reluctantly agreed~but, only if I promised I would not use her name...

You know what? That is just 'sooooo her!'

And so I will keep the identity of my benevolent friend a SECRET and trust that it is ENOUGH that God knows who she is...

Dear --,
Thank you dear friend from the bottom of my heart...you've blessed me a thousand fold!

Gosh...now it's my turn to 'Pay It Forward'...

I'm thinkin'! Stay tuned...

Blessings from my unworthy little self...Rebecca

When I started my blog I, like you, never in my wildest dreams could have imagined the magnitude of the friendships I would find.
The bloggers we "meet" are kind & generous beyond any expectaions I ever had.
You, my dear, have received a treasure trove!! What a lucky lady you are....

How blessed we are to have met such beautiful people on-line....friendships as deep as those that surround us. How ironic that you and I spoke of the same experience...we are truly blessed aren't we? Hugs...Abby:)

G'morn, Rebecca ~ Ask not what you shall receive, but what you shall give ... ok, terrible play on that verse but it works.

What lovely items you have received. I know that you are able to bless someone in the way you have been blessed. Isn't it such fun & great joy to receive & give? There is nothing that makes a/my heart fuller than giving, also. And, those 'balls' are so pretty. What do you do with the balls ...

Now the BIG question is WHAT'CHA GONNA DO WITH IT ALL?, ladybug. Therein lies the 'prize' ... the beauties you will create, the magic you will bestow ... & sharing with us all more creations.

I don't know what I expected when I came into bloggyland, but I have to tell you it has been such a joy to meet so many wonderful loving hearts ... friends forever. It is such great fun, so educational, heart rendering ...

Have a beautiful day ... please continue to lift Amy ...

Hugs of love, TTFN ~ Marydon

Remember we had just been sharing about blessing others !! I truly believe when we are called to go and serve (help) others in need, the good, loving Lord will bless us in return.. What an amazingly generous gift. You will have many hours of creating with that!

I have tended to shy away from the swaps and things because of the postage. Which is sad...I would enjoy it!

Blogging has come to mean so much to me since I can no longer work. It is my "getting out and talking" to other women instead of the tv all the time. It has become a very important part of my day!

MY DEAR SWEET REBECCA,
I AM A PERSON THAT WAS BLESSED BY YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL GRANDDAUGHTER, WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS IN THE HOSPITAL.
YOU ARE AS BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AS OUTSIDE AND YOU LEAVE BEHIND AN AWESOME AUROMA THAT PROVOKES THE FEELING OF BEING SO BLESSED THAT YOU VISITED US, NOT ONCE BUT TWICE.
I WANT THE BLOGGY WORLD TO KNOW JUST HOW VERY SPECIAL YOU ARE AND THAT IS JUST WHY YOU HAD A FRIEND SEND YOU BOXES OF RIBBONS...THOSE RIBBONS WILL COME TO LIFE AND WHILE I PRAY YOUR BEAUTIFUL STUDIO TRIPLES IN BUSINESS I KNOW THAT THROUGH YOUR GRACE, BEAUTY, MERCY AND LOVE OF JESUS AND PEOPLE YOU AND THAT SPECIAL HUSBAND WILL CONTINUE TO BLESS THOSE IN NEED.
THE FIRST NIGHT YOU CAME TO SEE US IT WAS POURING DOWN RAIN AND YOU BROUGHT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BASKET OF MUFFINS....ALL DECORATED IN A GORGEOUS ROMANTIC BASKET WITH TOUCHES OF PRETTY PINK....I EVEN SHARED THOSE MUFFINS WITH THE DOCTORS.......AS A MATTER OF FACT, ONE OF THE MUFFINS YOU DELIVERED THAT NIGHT WAS THE VERY, "VERY" LAST THING MY DAUGHTER HAD AND UNLESS A CREATIVE MIRACLE IS DONE BY GOD IT WAS AND WILL BE THE LAST THING SHE EVER EATS. GOD WAS MERCIFUL THAT NIGHT AND SHE ENJOYED EVERY BITE OF IT. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.
THE SECOND TIME WE WERE BLESSED BY YOUR VISIT, YOU BROUGHT YOUR BEAUTIFUL GRANDDAUGHTER. SHE HAS YOUR GIVING AND NUTURING HEART. WE PUT THE PICTURE SHE MADE FOR MY DAUGHTER UP ON THE BULLENTIN BOARD AND EVERYONE ASK ABOUT THE ARTIST.
WHAT WE DIDN'T KNOW THEN WAS THE CARBON DIOXIDE WAS BUILDING UP IN HER BLOOD STREAM AND WAS CAUSING AGITATION AS WELL AS HER PAIN.
THE CANDLE YOU BROUGHT WITH THE PAINTED LID I WILL TREASURE FOREVER.....THE BEAUTIFUL ANGEL WE HUNG FROM THE CEILING OF ROOM 423 UNTIL MY DAUGHTER WENT TO SURGERY FOR A TRACH AND PEG TUBE.
AFTER SHE WAS TRANSFERRED OUT OF ICU I HAD HER SMELL YOUR CANDLE AS SHE LOVED SMELLING IT BEFORE SURGERY....SHE CANNOT SMELL IT, OBVIOUSLY......ALSO THE BEAUTIFUL DOOR HANGER YOU GAVE HER WAS ALSO HUNG IN THE ROOM.
THE PACKAGE YOU SO BEAUTIFULLY DECORATE IS AN ELEGANT PRESENT IN ITSELF.
RICHARD LOST YOUR PHONE NUMBER OUT OF HIS POCKET....HE FOUND IT UNDER THE FRONT SEAT AS WE WERE LEAVING THE HOSPITAL.....I WOULD HAVE CALLED YOU THE NIGHT MY DAUGHTER WENT INTO HER COMA AND I KNOW YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE IN SECONDS.
A HOSPITAL BED IS COMING TO OUR HOME TODAY AT THE BLESSING OF MY MOTHER AND DADDY. WE ARE GOING TO PUT IT IN THE LIVING ROOM.
FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW....MY DAUGHTER IS AMY. MY NAME IS DEBBIE AND YOU ARE JUST A PRETTY SPECIAL LADY......BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT AND A TRUE CHRISTIAN......YOU LIVE JUST WHAT IS PUBLISHED ON YOUR BLOG.
I WILL E-MAIL YOU LATER BUT YES I CAN FULLY UNDERSTAND WHY YOU WOULD BE BLESSED WITH TREASURES. YOU, REBECCA, ARE A TREASURE.
I LOVE YOU MY FRIEND
