~A ROSE IS A ROSE - Sweet Sentiment on a Lonely Day~

GORGEOUS PINK BLOOMS

OK...forgive me! I'm a braggart when it comes to the random display of love and affection. I can't help myself. Save the Valentine Chocolates and the over-ripe red roses (assembly-line style, of course) that men seem to turn to when trying desperately to be romantic...

GIVE ME THIS INSTEAD...

PETITE REMEMBRANCE - JUST PERFECT

The doorbell rang unexpectedly early yesterday morning at my La Chaumière de Briarwood. I was still in my PJ's at 9AM when I opened the door to the friendly face of an older man holding a petite bouquet of gorgeous flowers~

Nothing could have been sweeter for my lonely heart at that very moment! Just knowing my hubby of many, many years had been thinking of me, stopping long enough to place an order for my favorite pink blooms, made a huge difference in what proved to be a long, yet wonderful day.

In a world where relationships crumble faster than the rising of the sun, today I again find thankfulness I've never had to experience the bitter cup of a troubled marriage.

Whatever I was...whatever I am...whatever I shall be...I would give away to him.

Blessings to you as you value all you love and hold dear...Rebecca

Oh how precious. I love a bunch of flowers from the grocery store when my husband surprises me...it is just as good as a huge arrangement of long stem roses!!

I feel the fortune of a solid marriage everytime I think about the 41 years we have been together. All the good, all the bad, all the life, all the death. It is like riding a roller coaster.... you just never know when you will drop off that high top & it will take your breath away. That is life!
This week has been good for us... We have worked together everyday on our property & home. It is a common goal & our pride & joy!
OMG... He makes my heart go pitty-pat after all these years!
Love You,
Marilyn

Hi, Rebecca,
I love your sweet bouquet. I am with you. I would rather have a small cottage flower type bouquet than any thing too big and overpowering. Sending best wishes your way. Vicki

Oh Rebecca, you are so blessed to have a wonderful husband. I read about all the blogging ladies that have wonderful husbands and I wonder what all of you have done to be the blessed ones. All of you have done something right. I have been blessed, not with a husband, but with children. And I never try to out guess God. I just thank him for my wonderful children. Guess not all of us are meant to be married.
Your flowers are beautiful!!!!!
Hugs,
Pat

PRAISE GOD!!! Another marriage did not bite the dust. This is a success story that people need to hear.
There is victory in Jesus.
A troubled marriage stabilized by two people WANTING to have the marriage saved and God's help.

Just remember that the stallion is galloping across country to be back in your love tomorrow ... enjoy his safe arms once again.

My new little shelf is going white as is my quilt rack and coffee table. SO many plans! :)

Hi,
You sure do a sweet and lovely job transforming a black object into a creamy white! I love it. Do you mind sharing where you found that 24.99 beauty? I have seen them at Hobby Lobby. Now I have two reasons to go back there!
Thanks!
