~JUST A LITTLE OF THIS AND THAT~

I'm back working in my studio today and I'm excited about the sweet new things I'll be uploading to my website over the weekend.  Remember that sweet vintage dresser I told you about a couple of weeks ago?

Yep...this one...
Well...it SOLD from my booth yesterday and so I had to mosey my way down there and fill up the big hole it left in my space.  You know...as much as I LOVE "nickles, nickles, nickels" (and I do!  I do!!!),  sometimes I wish the really super cute stuff would just sit for a little bit.  Now I have to get myself into super-duper high gear (it's actually the only one I have!) and finish the next piece in line.

Now...guess who bought it?  A sweet lady who is a NEW Gramma!  She purchased it for her brand new granddaughter and is taking it to Dallas this weekend.  Ahh...a Nana after my own heart!

Sooooo long my pretty pink rosy friend...I will miss you!

Now...I've been a BUSY GIRL working in our formal dining room.  The first set of French Doors my guy installed earlier this year have been a BEAR to paint.  If I have to mask off one more window pane I might very well kill myself die!  All that repetitive stuff makes me mean nervous!  I'm sooo glad the second set is already white.  They will be easier to transform!  A peek at the new entrance to our Dining Room is coming soon!

Anyway, my Mr. AGPMan continues to rip out the Master Bath I told you about a couple of days ago.  I barely peeked my head in yesterday and this is what I saw...
GASP!

I ducked my little head RIGHT BACK OUT!

Some things I am more than happy to leave to "Mr. He Can Do Anything" man! :)

Blessings as you go about your day...may it be filled with good things!  Only good things!

Love to you~

GOOD MORNING SWEET ANGEL,
WE MAY GET BY WITHOUT RAIN TODAY. IT WOULD BE AWESOME TO SEE THE SUN.
THERE IS A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE BABY GIRL THAT IS RECEIVING A BEAUTIFUL DRESSER SHE CAN GROW UP WITH. SHE IS REALLY SPECIAL TO RECEIVE SOMETHING MADE BY YOUR BEAUTIFUL HANDS.
JUST DON'T LOOK IN THE BATHROOM UNTIL MR. APGMAN GETS THROUGH...THE MESS WILL HINDER YOUR CREATIVITY BECAUSE YOU WANT IT DONE SO BAD, AS WOULD I.
HOW IS YOUR SWEET DADDY DOING. I PRAY FOR HIM EVERY DAY.
ANGEL HUGS AND LOVE

Hi sweet Rebecca,

I love the beautiful vintage dresser! You did a wonderful job making it over. What a loving Gramma to purchase that for her sweet new grandbaby and to deliver it to her. Just think of all the generations that will be able to enjoy it! I look forward to seeing the new entrance to your dining room. I know it is beautiful! Oh my! I would duck my head right back out too! So glad your dear hubby can do anything! I know the re-do will be fabulous! Blessings to you Rebecca! I wish you only good things too!
Love, Paula

Hi...I can't wait to see the finished projects!

I am glad your dresser went to a "good home".

We are coming to Oklahoma City area and Edmond to see our friends in a few weeks. Do you have a booth some place where I can see your stuff. We are going antiquing. (It would be fun to meet you too...but that would be too much to ask.)

Luv ya,
Linda

heh heh - during remodeling, there is always the feeling of the darkest before the storm ... or is that the dark before the light?

Oh my goodness..... the bathroom is a mess, but I know we'll be gasping for air when we see the finished bathroom.

I would think it would be so hard to part with the beautiful vintage dresser. It's so beautiful, but even more so with your lovely roses! Glad it will have a happy home though.....

What a beautiful piece! No wonder it sold so quickly. I understand what you mean about wanting the cute things to stay put for a bit. We had a similar issue this week in our booth! I would have poked my head right back out of the bathroom too, we like to do the "pretty" stuff!
I also loved you post on Miss K and the beautiful little note she left you, how special for Nana!

Rebecca,

Thank you so much for stopping by my new blog. Yes, I am keeping both of them. I love the devotional blog I write so very much and it allows to express my thoughts on the blessings of my Lord.
However, I also am enjoying my home and the decorating and redecorating as well as being hostess for the tea parties and other social occasions. So, the new blog allows me to express my creative side for which you continually give me unlimited inspiration.
Thank you for being such a wonderful friend and mentor. My home is filled with your lovely creations and I treasure each one.
Blessings to you today, dear Rebecca.

In Grace,
Marie

~Hi Rebecca~~Was doing a little blogging of my own today and thought I would visit your blog...I had a time getting to it..not sure why, but anyway I love the chest of drawers with the mirror...came out very pretty and will be perfect in the baby's nursery. Miss K's note is precious and surely a keepsake...love it!! Blessing to your dear husband...he continues to bless your home with his expertise and those he loves...if I remember right, he just got back from helping your sis with her home. I stopped to think "how blessed" your hubby must feel to know that he can do these things and help others...That's what it is all about!
Have a great Thursday!!!! Love and hugs, Mary H.

Hi Rebecca... so pretty... did you also change your blog name??? All of the sudden, it was not coming through my dashboard, and now it comes through as "Shabby Chic Cottage Roses"... I think Blogger is having some problems again... I signed on again as a follower, I am probably on there twice now! That's ok, I always look at your post two times each anyways! xoxo Julie Marie

Rebecca your dresser was adorable. What a sweet Gramma she is! Yikes I just had a flash back when I saw the picture of your bathroom. I lived with a BIG mess for so long I didn't think anything would be normal again or dust free! Hang in there it does get better!

Denise

Hi Rebecca!
I'm glad that your sweet dresser sold but I understand what you mean. Sometimes, we like them to stay in our booths for awhile because it looks so lovely. I get mine lookin all good and then I end up with a bare spot!!! egads, can't have that!

Your bathroom looks scary, better stay out of Mr.AGPman's way!
