~BATHROOM MAKEOVER COUNTDOWN TO COMPLETION~

~MY MR. AGPMan's MUSE~
(He truly THINKS this is artwork!)

When you've been sick for two weeks (and you have a hubbs like mine), you get use to a man BOSSIN' YOU AROUND a bit (especially after 32 years of marriage)!  Since I'm notorious for NOT finishing my prescriptions, the little note you see above (scribbled upon a white paper towel, mind you!) is my guy's way of telling me "TAKE YOUR MEDICATION!"
Gosh...you'd think he loves me or somethin'! :)

OK...on to our TINY MASTER BATH REMODEL!
 ~TEXTURING CLEAN-UP~

A couple of days ago I gave you a little update on the pain in the bumm invigorating bathroom remodel project my hubby and I started last May.  I'm soooo happy to tell you that we've stayed on task this week and EXCEPT for the GLASS SHOWER DOOR I actually think we may be done sometime Sunday!  I'm thinkin' if you LISTEN REALLY CAREFULLY you may even hear me
SQUEAL LIKE A PIG WITH JOY!
 ~LOOKIN' LIKE A FOOL WITH
SOME-PAINT-ON-MY-NOSE~

I can NEVAH paint without getting it everywhere!  ARGH!
 ~PRIME! PRIME! PRIME!~

I get totally JIGGY with makeover projects...especially when I get to wear my guy's old clothes!  Sooooo stylish!
~SOMEBODY HELP ME, PLEASE!~

I have no idea WHAT I'm doing here!
~TOTALLY DONE~

Whoot!  Whoot!  The texturing, priming and painting is all done!  We chose VALSPAR INTERIOR SATIN FINISH PAINT for the walls and I'm LOVIN' the color!  It's called BUNGALOW WHITE and it's scrumptious!  Not off white...not yellowy white or even cottage white.  It is definitely a neutral color, but with just a twinge of 'blush'.  Yummo!

 ~FOUND AT LOWE'S~

 ~HERE'S THE PAINT LABEL~
 ~SHOWER HARDWARE INSTALLED~

~VINTAGE DOOR INTO BATH~

Man...am Iovin' this!  We primed our bedroom this afternoon and tomorrow it will be painted.  Depending on how much I get done I MIGHT actually show you my TINY MASTER BEDROOM this upcoming week!  :)  In the past I've only shown you bits and pieces of it...

I'm can be sooo SNEAKY sometimes!!! :)

OK Peeps!  This is it soooo far!  Whatever we are able to get done tomorrow I promise to show you soon!  I know for certain our sink/cabinet, toilet, mirror, lights, etc. will be installed in the morning!  EEK!  Can't stand the suspense myself!

Hope you had a great day!  Mine was wonderful!  I can finally SEE all our upstairs construction coming to an end!

Love to you...

Dearest Rebecca,

What a feeling that must be; healing from your flu and now the bliss of seeing this long-dragged-on project come to an END. It looks already pretty as far as you've come.
You look very elegant with your hair up-do! Never mind the pain on your skin.
The color choice is perfect. Never liked the harsh white-white myself.

Enjoy your weekend (ending your project!),

Lots of love,

Mariette

Hubby and I will be starting our tiny bathroom remodel at the end of this month. I'm looking forward to it, however I think we may have our neighbor give us a hand. He's really handy with home renos. Can't wait to see your reveal, I'm sure it will be gorgeous and perhaps inspiration for when I start mine!

My dear R you are even beautiful with paint on your nose. LOL How do you do it? Your new bathroom is going to be gorgeous I can already tell. Your Mr. APG man is awesome with his skills. Does he hire out? Think Ive asked you that before. So excited for you and so glad you are feeling better.

I absolutely love the picture of the paint on your nose! That only makes it official! Ha! Boy, Rebecca, your paint clothes sure don't look like mine. Mine have paint all over them. One day I ran to the PO to get my mail and a little old guy was in there (I hoped that I would see no one as late as I went and didn't want to change clothes) who did see me! I laughed and said, "Well, I guess you can see what I've been doing!" He asked me, "Little lady, did you get any on the walls?"

I join the rest of the blog-followers awaiting the unveiling of the finished bathroom!!! You have kept us all holding our breath for the results! I know they are going to be gorgeous...everything you do always is!!
Did anyone ever tell you, along with how very pretty you are, that you have the MOST beautiful profile?
I noticed right off how perfect your nose was!! I am a NOSE person because I used to be teased a lot as a little girl because mine resembled a SKI RUN !!!! Now I just think the turned up tip makes me look likw I am stuck-up and have been told this, too..LOL
Have a great weekend decorating your new space, but heed Mr.AGPMan's
ART=WORK advising you to finish your
pills!! Loved that...I would save it
like forever!!!
Hugs, Francy

Francy...girlfriend~YOU MAKE ME SMILE! I have never liked my NOSE and the joke in my family is that us girls ALL got our Daddy's nose (which is on the larger side of things)! I suppose as we get older though we SHOULD come to accept our imperfections and I have certainly accepted mine. Thanks anyway for the SWEET compliment. Your kind words have done more to help me feel better about my 52 year old self than any BOTOX I might ever feel led to try! :) ahhah

You bless me.

Love, Rebecca
