~SHABBY COTTAGE CHIC SHELF and MORE Bathroom Makeover Pics~

 ~SWEET SHABBY COTTAGE DECOR~

Try as I might I just couldn't get everything done yesterday in order to share with you more pictures of my ONGOING "Tiny Master Bath Remodel".
~PICTURE OF CABINET ONLY~

It never ceases to amaze me how LONG it takes to do mundane little things like 'nail hole filling' and the like! :)  Little by little the project my Mr. AGPMan and I started back in MAY OF LAST YEAR is nearing completion!
 ~I LOVE COTTAGE WHITE~

With the exception of our customized shower door we are 99% done!  I'm soooo totally happy I'm drunk with JOY! :)
~SWEET PERFUMERIES~

See those two glass bottles with the rose floral tops and embossed silver fronts?  I found those at a thrift store earlier this year for $4 each.  SCORE!
 ~LOTS OF VINTAGE PRETTIES~

I also happen to simply adore old lace and if I can find it stitched, knitted or crocheted into a darling old camisole then I'm an absolute gonner...

 ~GREAT "ROSS" FIND - CABINET $17.99~

Now...see the Cabinet above?  I needed something fairly small for the space above the toilet and although I was wanting something vintage I couldn't find anything that would work in my tiny little space.
 ~AFTER A COUPLE OF COATS OF PAINT~

So...last weekend when I was at our local ROSS STORE I was crazy-happy again to find this darling cabinet for under twenty bucks.  I hated the finish (Gosh...I sound like a broken record, huh?
 ~PERFECT FOR HOLDING "LITTLE THINGS"~

I ALWAYS hate the finish on new stuff) and so I primed it and then painted it out using my FAVORITE Cottage White Paint from Behr (Home Depot).  After it cured for a couple of days I gently distressed it and my hubbs promptly hung it up on the wall!  I'm sooo lovin' her now!  Her lines are simple and they do not compete with the intricate style of the sink/cabinet.
 ~VINTAGE YARDLEY LAVENDER BOTTLE~

I am in LOVE with glass perfume bottles...did I ever tell you that?  I am!  I am!  This darling little beauty was a sweet gift to me by my hubby many, many years ago.  I thought you might like to see a closeup of it!
 ~MISS MOLLIE THE MOLINATOR~

Now...this morning about an hour or so after I made my bed I found myself back in my bedroom putting some laundry away.  While I got ready to do some vacuuming  I noticed that my little "MeMo the MollieMo" had crawled right up on top of my bed (which is a huge NO NO NO unless I am on it..and she knows it!) and was laying on one of my BEST vintage linen pillows!

WHAT?
~WHO?  ME?   YOU WANT ME????~

I looked right at my high-maintenance little stinker and said:
"MoMo!  What are you doing up there?"
With that she tilted her head as if to say:
"What?  I Can!"

Ugh!

Hope you are having a wonderful day...I'm actually off to do some REAL WORK! :)

Love to you...

I am awe struck. I've never, and I mean never, seen a more beautiful bathroom. I've been in many stunning Bed & Breakfasts all over the country and none comes close to the beauty of this bathroom. You should run a contest in about 6 months to see who has copied your bathroom most closely. I know I'm contemplating everything I see as to whether I can do it or not. How fun it must be to inspire others to beautify their homes. You have the eye and touch of a true artist. Thanks for sharing!!!

Animals KNOW what they are NOT supposed to do, just "grin" at you to apologize, and PRETEND they will never do it again! Right? At least that is how it is here.

You need to get that bathroom done--just for us because we need to see more of its loveliness. You cannot imagine how delightful it is to visit you! I appreciate all your hard labors! ♥♫

Oh Rebecca,
MoMo just wants the finest things she has come to expect from her mama...She was just having a Diva moment.
Your bathroom is due for a magazine article before long...it is soooo stunning. I know you are drunk with Joy...I would just be setting in there looking and laughing and saying, I can't believe it is mine.
Tell Mr. AGP Man the next time he is in my town to look over at Meadowlake Park at all the geese. I doubt they are going anywhere very soon.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful bathroom...I can see you trying to put your pretties up before the paint is dry...lol

Dearest Rebecca,

What a great job accomplished by the two of you! That cabinet from Ross' is a very smart addition to the gorgeous vanity you created. Today we were in Atlanta at Tuesday Morning, always walking in before we shop next door at Trader Joe's. Great store for surprise finds; like you proved to be true.
Oh, Mollie made the very best statement of ALL! She is super smart and knew she's not allowed on that bed BUT her human Mommy got SO in love with her new bath that she HAD to do it... nobody noticed her. Isn't that funny.

Enjoy your hard work and yeah, the nitty-gritty of little things you could have done better IF are always there. For that you should be able to do it three times. But who wants to?

Lots of love,

Mariette

Hey, would you come and so a few makeovers for me? Actually, I'd settle for just one. How about my sewing room?

You really know how to decorate! Love it all!

Don't we have a love-hate relationship with projects around the house...they seem to take forever to do at times..but it looks like you time was well spent.
I too LOVE little bottles...ever since I was a little girl in fact, I have loved them. I use to empty out iodine bottles and such..use them as "perfume" bottles.

Thanks for dropping your sweet note on my blog.
Rebecca, I know, I only post photo's from my computer too..I don't even have an iPhone or Blackberry........or as I called it the other day...by mistake...a "Mayberry"..and my daughter laughted SO HARD.

Stay safe.

I agree with Jan..Your bath would be the Inspiration Room. For those contemplating a rennovation, it would be interesting to see
other Peeps twists, using your ideas. If I don't quit scrolling & clicking to see your vanity, I will have carpal tunnel for sure.

Gotta love that Maollie girl. The sweet Dutchess of Yorkshire. Now how many doggies can rest amongst vintage linen pillows?? What a regal life Miss Mollie has ;)

Hello Rebecca,
An exquisite bathroom - I understand how hard it is to have to take time to do the necessary "mundane" things - but, they're sooo important. I put on my little IPod Shuffle - with the soothing music I have on my blog and that helps bunches.
I have a little Dachshund who used to be able to jump up on our bed - now she has to use the loveseat at the end - she knows better too! Wondering how that precious little thing made it on top!
Hope you have a wonderful day,
Kathy

Hi Rebecca
Wow - mind kind of bathroom, so romantically feminine.
I just love your little yorkie - how can you look at that sweet face and tell her she can't get on the bed! I've tried to keep my cockapoo off but he gets up and likes to head-butt the pillows off the bed.
As long as they don't chew our pretties, we can let them get away with it. :-)

To Kathy: My Miss Mollie gets up onto our VERY TALL BED by jumping on the bench at the foot of the bed. I keep her little fluffy bed there but SOMETIMES she just gets it into her little head that being on Momma's bed IS BETTER.

Mollie just turned 8 years old and is truly a JOY to me. She is full of attitude and spunk and I love it. I put clothes on her, too, and she hates that! ahhahahah
