~MEMORIAL SERVICE~

Thank you all for your kindness to my family as we grieve the loss of our beloved father.  As I shared with you a few days ago, he passed away on February 20, 2014.

The Memorial Service for Rev. William Edgar Elliott will be this Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Lake Overholser Church of the Nazarene in Bethany, Oklahoma, at 10:30AM.  Flowers can be sent to the church and notes of condolence can be mailed to my home address:

ELLIOTT FAMILY

Thank you again for the outpouring of love and compassion.  It means so much to my family and I.  I hope someday to repay you.

Love,

Dearest Rebecca, Although we are so happy that your dad is free at last, my heart breaks for you! Dementia is a horrid disease that also robbed my sweet mil of her life. I loved the photos you posted; my His grace and comfort ease your pain. You are such a dear woman and I know you made your dad so proud. We never stop missing them-mine has been gone now for 23 yrs. I still miss him but smile at the memories.
Sending love and prayers to your whole family.
Hugs,
Noreen

Your Dad's service is about to begin and I am holding you up with a big Texas hug. It is not only a sad day, as his earthly presence is no longer, but a joyous day as he has been reunited with his Loving God.

I would imagine you would be overwhelmed if you knew how many people are thinking of you and your family - probably thousands who have never met you in person but who feel a special connection - like I do.

tight hug

So sorry for your loss. So glad to see you here blogging. My Mom lost her thoughts towards the end of her life due to failing kidneys. I think of her they way she was. Incredible.
Thanks for letting me visit.

Oh sweet friend, Prayers for you as you face the days ahead. The horrible thing about this disease is that it robs you of precious moments long before they are gone. Praying that God will wrap His loving arms around you and give you peace. Love you.
