One Sunday morning, the Pastor of a medium sized congregation noticed a young boy standing in the Foyer of the Church staring up at a large Plaque. It was covered with names and small American Flags mounted on either side of it. The six-year old had been staring at the Plaque for quite some time, so the Pastor walked up, stood beside the little boy, and said quietly,
"Good morning!"
"Good morning, Pastor!"
The boy replied, still focused on the plaque.
"Pastor, what is this?"
The Pastor said...
"Well son, it's a Memorial to all the young men and women who died in the Service."
Soberly, they just stood together, staring at the large Plaque. Finally, the little boy's voice, barely audible and trembling with fear asked...
"Which Service...the 8:30 or the 11:00?"
Blessings to you as you remember how much the Lord LOVES the innocent hearts of children...Rebecca

Hi Sweet Rebecca,
Loved this! There are a few services that I thought I was going to die in, but I managed to live through them.
Thank you for the smile.

Hi Rebecca sweet thing!
Yes I did paint that wall. DH went to a gun show, and while he was gone, I rolled all that I could reach. When he got home, he trimmed it all out for me, and then finished the trim by the base board. I did not climb on a ladder, not taking any chances, I just stood and rolled the wall where my 5'2" frame could reach. Not very high hu? You have met Debbie and Moma, so you know I am the tall one in the family. I love this new room so much. It made me so happy to sit with breakfast this morning and just gaze at it. I so love it. For $15.00 it was the best money I have spent in a long time. Heidi Girl loved it. It just gives the room such a glow. I love this red pitcher tho, and I cannot wait to get it converted to a lamp. At $7.49 it was a steal. I even found (4) of the red plates still left that are the pattern of the pitcher. They were $1.29 each. All of this setting was 75% off. I was so tickled. I love clearance. I am coming home Sept. 30th and will be in Enid through October 17th. Talk to you soon sweetie. Country hugs and lots of love, Sherry

Rebecca, this one is just adorable. Haven't heard it before. Our children do say the most wonderful, innocent things! And they often see things so much more clearly than we adults!
