~REMEMBERING SEPTEMBER 11, 2001~
"O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!"
America the Beautiful

Rebecca, this is so thoughtful. Oh, goodness, how I remember that day. I was stunned to my toes and my heart was in my throat for weeks.
I pray we never forget. God bless America.

G'morn, Rebecca ~ Never to forget. We have an in-law that was in the buildings that collapsed, her tales of horror are deafening. Another in-law was in the air, his plane was landed within seconds in the middle of the USA. We had a good friend that was sitting at a desk where the Pentagon was hit directly, who was severely burned & seen on TV running out of that hole ... God bless them all. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs of love, TTFN ~ Marydon

God forbid us to forget. And may we always remember to pray for those who still must daily live with loss, pain, and grief.
Thank you for reminding us...and for caring, dear friend.
May the Lord bless you ever so abundantly.

What a special image to post for today. I pray every day that this never happens again and that our Country and it's people stay safe.
So you are Mr.AGP less huh? I'm flattered you thought of me since he went to Oaklahoma, but I don't know why since I live in Washington State! I've never been to OK, but I'm sure it's loveleigh, LOL!
I am so glad that you remembered today! Sad to say, I didn't remember until a few minutes ago when my daughter, who is twelve, asked me what happened on this day years ago. Then we had a talk. Next I went to your blog and saw your message. Thanks for always remembering others in your prayers and thoughts. You are so sweet!
I just found your blog and it is so nice! Lots of stuff to read and ponder and the same interest in roses as I have!~Patti
Thank you!
Hugs, Lisa
This is my favorite rememberance of 9/11. Such a sweet little innocent young girl. The innocence is so symbolic of our country up until the moment the first plane hit the first Twin Tower.
Thank you for bring sweetness for the 9/11 reminder.
I have never seen the written words of your country's natural anthem, they are very moving Reb as is remembering that terrible day not just for your country but for the world... it was the day that changed so much... I too remembered....

Such a perfect graphic and a sweet fitting tribute to our fallen.
Big TX Hugs,
