~MY BEAUTIFUL PARENTS~
NOVEMBER 23, 1955

Dear Mom & Daddy...

It is with a grateful heart I wish the two of you a Happy Anniversary. I love you more than words can say.

Great Grandmother~Grandmother~
Mother~Father~ Grandfather

You gave me a firm foundation on which to build my life...

Thank you for the years of loving instruction and for planting deep seeds of faith within my soul.

As a result I have strong roots and soaring wings.

~THE BEGINNING~
(My Favorite Picture)

I know your journey together is winding down. Your path is headed towards the home stretch...making it's last important turn before reaching your rewards.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Precious, Rebecca...your parents are filled with the Lord, and He just pours out onto you. May their hearts be filled with joy as they receive the praise of their daughter, who loves them so.

Such a beautiful tribute to your parents today Rebecca. I'm sure they know that one of the great accomplishments in their marriage was to raise such a loving daughter. I LOVE the photo in the car too.

Rebecca ~ How lovely that they are still together - such a wonderful accomplishment in these days especially. But I see them standing in front of lovely vintage pictures of Jesus. And I'm sure He was standing with them through all the years and that He saw them through. What a rich heritage.

Yes, the Just Married photo brought a smile to my face immediately - it is such a classic!

Congratulations to them. I know you are proud of them. Our anniversary is in April, 50 years and I plan to give my opinion, LOL, of how one stays married 50 + years.

Oh Rebecca!
I gotta tell ya, I could have been looking at pictures of my Mom and Dad! I think they were married in 1954...and the styles were just the same and even the picture styles are so similar!

What a rich heritage you have been blessed with. 50+ is an amazing feat! Congrats to your parents!

Blessings..Lorena

Becky--
Thank you for your sweet words. Looking at these pictures brought back so many memories. It is hard to believe we were so young. After 54 years -- we are proud of our 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. God has blessed with his love and mercy. Life is WONDERFUL!
Love you-- Mom

~~OK, Sweet Rebecca~~Just another beautiful post of your family. Just love this one about your parents. I too, love the picture in the back seat looking out of the car...so loving!! Wish I thought and got one of my hubby & I like that on our wedding day.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and also letting you know (as you asked) that I added your "blog rose button" to my blog page.
The pillow is gorgeous...you made me one a few years ago with the same embroidering across the front with complimentary fabrics in variations of Raspberry roses. I put it out every year!! Love it.
Blessings to you and your family...Love & Hugs, Mary H.

It is always so delightful to hear when a couple's happy marriage lasts as long as theirs.
They are most fortunate to have a daughter who cares so much for them.
