~VINTAGE BABY GRAPHICS...Lovely Old Images To Share~

~SWEET OLD BABY CARDS~

I dearly love vintage graphics and if you've followed my Blog for any time at all you know that! :) I especially love vintage baby cards from the 1940's and 1950's. Their sweetness and innocence is beyond compare and every single time I pull them out from their hiding place I can't help but smile. The graphics depict a time when life SEEMED a bit simpler and a whole lot less complicated...

I've collected aging paper goods for many years and have for you today three of my very favorite baby cards. A couple of years ago I purchased a very large grouping of old ephemera and I've enjoyed using them in many of my personal projects. You are welcomed to use the following three graphics as you please. I've scanned them at a fairly high resolution so they should be perfect for all your altered art needs.

Now peeps...You KNOW I love to share with you! Over this past year I have refrained from using a large watermark across my graphic images because I want you all to enjoy them as I do. I hope to be able to continue to do this. Please remember the images I use to embellish my Blog are not for sharing, unless otherwise stated as I have above. It is very disappointing to stumble upon another blog or web page and find my altered images being used without permission. Even when my words and AGP Logo are removed you can rest assured I know my work.

Now...enjoy these FREEBIES and do check back tomorrow! Another little Give-A-Way will be announced!

Blessings to you as your creativity flows and flows...Rebecca

These are all so sweet Rebecca. I actually have a couple of similar cards that I got when my firstborn arrived, Wow, to think of them as vintage makes me shudder. I know they are replicas, but still they probably are considered vintage to most of the gals in blogland.

How pretty are these images. I love old vintage paper myself but do not have many pieces.
Thank you for sharing these with us and I always love coming over here to visit your site.
Loved the comment you left about the ole farm house. You can visit anytime but give me enough notice that I can pick up a few things here and there that are not where they belong. With only one closet I tend to not be to neat like I want to be

So adorable Rebecca! Isn't it funny that they say Mother and Dad? Not Mother and Father? :-) I wonder if that's just how things were in the old days... ?? Well, when I was a kid, but we don't want to talk about that, do we now?

Have a wonderful weekend sweet one...

Hugs,
Spence

Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful baby images. I will also have to dig mine out. I really think I own the second one, as I still have the baby cards my mom saved for me when I was born! It sure brought back memories of precious times. Hugs, Nancy

I have a belief that certain things are meant to be. Such as a format for Ms.R to show off her lovely ephemera! A blog could not be more perfect for you to have fun on. However, I can just picture you sitting there in all your glory thinking, "hmmm, whatever one shall we choose?" That would be the struggle. So many pretty one's you've shown us over the year. I love the second picture. It's beautiful.

Feel better and here's a shout out to all trying to get through the miserable bugs going around. I'm on my feet but not sure it's productive forward motion yet. Might have something to do with remodeling... who likes that? Anyone? No, I just want it done!!

Hugs

Hi, Rebecca!

Those are adorable baby graphics, and you are so sweet to share them with us! :-)

I was rumaging through some family papers recently, and I spotted a baby card. I will see if I can locate it again. If I do, I will share the image with you in return. Not sure I can put my hands on it, but if I do, I will let you know.

Have a beautiful Sunday, my sister in the Lord...

XO,

Sheila :-)

G'day, Rebecca ~ Glad to see you are improving ... sinus is such a nasty inconvenience & pain to deal with.

Your cards are lovely, such sweetness in the precious graphics. I have some of our personal ones from our childhood that I treasure.

Hi Rebecca,
I love vintage cards too. One of the girls in our shop finds them all of the time at auctions and estate sales. They go out the door fast.
Your little baby cards are adorable, in fact if I look through some of my cherished keepsakes I'm sure I will find a few similar ones.
Thank you for visiting my blog and as always, leaving such a sweet
comment. If we lived closer together then I would let you borrow my etched vanity mirror anytime!!
Hugs

Ooooooh I can finally see after seeing all your graphics I HAVE THESE ONES.... heaps & heaps of them. Most of them are cards my parents recieved when I was born (1960), also from my christening & all my birthdays when I was young. I especially love the little girls with their big dresses & brollies, not sure what they are called but very similar to the Crinolin? ladies, to me they are priceless...
Thanks for sharing again & bringing back memories girly girl...

Hi Rebecca dear! Thank you so much for the wonderful images - I love the valentine ones too. BTW, I prefer your posts in the middle - easier read - for me at least. So you are coming to Dickson in April? It is just past Nashville at the west end of the state, and we are in East TN near the upper corner, bordering Virginia - how I wish we were closer!! Wouldn't it be wonderful to meet in person? Who knows, maybe someday we will. I've been to Nashville but never to Dickson - heard of it though. Are there lots of wonderful antique shops? I'll bet so. I hope you are having a lovely weekend!
