~ROMANTIC KEEPSAKES and Fragrant Strawberry Sachets~

~SACHETS FROM 2008~

Last week when I shared with you pictures of our Formal Dining Room Makeover I also gave you a little peek at some pretty Sachets my Mother and I made for my daughter's 2007 wedding favors. Fashioned in the shape of dainty Strawberries, the Sachets were truly a labor of love and took many months for us to complete. Made from vintage watermark Taffeta and lovely old Damasks, each Sachet was filled with fragrant Lavender and complemented with both new and vintage millinery finds.

Over the years I have LOVED making these little keepsakes for the special women in my life. The Sachets are both romantic and feminine and truly a beautiful gift for both Easter and Mother's Day...

I hope you'll check back tomorrow as I will be giving you a quick overview of how the Sachets are made...

Hoping your Valentine's Day was as beautiful as mine...

Hello Rebecca... ooh those are so beautiful, I will be back tomorrow to see how they are made... I would love to make one for myself! (minus the scent, I have allergies so bad and cannot have anything scented even though I love pretty scents) Since mine may not turn out... will you be selling those in any of your shops? I will check to see... xoxo Julie Marie

Hi my sweet friend ~
Ooohhh .. I LoVe these beautiful sachets, and I have mine from you of course (remember the one that go lost in the mail)But, of course you made that all better, and made the exact one to replace it !! Mine from Adries' wedding STILL smell just as wonderful as they did then .. Do you know if you rub these between your warm hands, the smell is activated again .. Soo strange, but, true .. I adore the pretty lockets you sew on to them .. soo dainty and romantic ..you always make the most beautiful, sweet, girly treasures ~ Can't wait to see how you make these tomorrow .. I could never do it, but, is always fun to see you create .. LoVe and hugs to you my pInK lovin' girlie friend ~
Big hugs ~tea~xo

Rebecca, the sachets are so beautiful! I made sachets for my daughter's bridal shower in 2003 and to be truthful, they were not very pretty at all. If only I could be as creative as you:(
Are you still making them? Would it be possible for me to purchase one from you, please? They are so lovely.

I think the art that you create with your hands is astounding. Whether you're painting furniture or painting your beautiful roses on train cases, or stitching these beautiful sachet...it's all done so amazingly lovely. Rebecca, I think you are filled with such grace and such a beautiful woman inside and out. I'm not trying to embarrass you...just ststing fact, my friend.

LOVE, LOVE LOVE your strawberry sachets!! I am lucky enough to have one made by you during the time of your daughter's wedding preparation, and I cherish it!
I am waiting to see the directions on how to make these sweet sachets, but would you PLEASE, PLEASE make some with your nimble fingers for us old folks who cannot use our hands quite as easily as we once did? I would love to buy a couple more for someone special to me.....
Keep up the good work and inspirations, my dear friend...you are a blessing to so many of us, I hope you realize how much we all love you!
Hugs and Love to you, Francy
