~EXCITING CHANGES and Sweet Memories~

A couple of days ago my phone rang and on the other end was my 7 year old granddaughter, my Miss K.  She said in an EXTREMELY animated voice...

~TAKING A BUBBLE BATH IN NANA'S BIG TUB~

"NANA!!!!  I have some VERY exciting news!  You aren't going to BEEEEE----LEEEVE what I have to tell you!  You're just going to FREAK OUT!"

Now my head instantly begins to spin a bit here.  I'm thinking a gazillion thoughts in just a spit second or two and my heart is starting to race as well.  I'm thinking it MIGHT be another baby-on-the-way or maybe something even equally as wonderful...not sure just what mind you, just something FABULOUS!

Then, as she continues using an over-the-top, happy and elevated voice, she says...

"I LUSTH MY FRUMT TUUTTH!"

~I JUST LOVE HER SMILE!~

"What?" I said  "I didn't understand you!  Say it again!"

My Miss K repeats herself...

"I saaaaaaid (with more than a slight lisp here!) I LOST MY FRONT TOOTH!  I can't wait to show you!

Yesterday I picked up Miss K from school and was thrilled out of my mind to see her beaming from ear to ear!  Her smile jolted me back a few years, back to the days when I was just a young mommy and my daughter, her Auntie Adrie, shared the same toothless grin.

~MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER, ADRIENNE, 1992~

And then I remembered the face of another little girl I hadn't seen in a really, really long time...

~1965~

Blessings to you as you celebrate the sweet changes in life while growing older with those you love...

It is so much fun when they lose teeth when they are little, the thrill of the tooth fairy and all! You and your daughter look like you could be twins in your pictures, toothless grins or no!

Rebecca, Miss K is so beautiful and what a sweety. When we met you yesterday Tammy told me little Miss K was offering her free of charge your beautiful cards. LOL She said Miss K said " Would you like this one, you can have it, I help my Nana make them, she will let you have them". I laughed so hard, she is just the cutest thing. I so enjoyed our chance meeting and feel so honored to have been able to meet you and Mr. AGP Man (he is a keeper). Hope to see you again soon.

Hugs
Ginger

Hi Rebecca, I really enjoyed this post. You have such a wonderful way of telling stories. Your granddaughter is just precious. I can't remember if I left a comment or not, but I so loved your Christmastime post, when you decribed you drive to the Christmas pagent and little Miss K's misunderstanding of the song's words! That was so cute! Wishing you many more giggles with your little sweetie. Enjoy your day. Paulette ;)

Sweet Rebecca, just got the biggest kick out of this post! Fell out laughing at your verbal description of what Sweet Miss K was trying to convey! Now how adorable was that? And can I just say how closely all three of you resemble one another. Sweetness runs deep, doesn't it???

Miss Rebecca, your comment while visiting my place yesterday, went straight to my heart. You and a few others that I've had the previledge to meet through blogging, really SEE me. The spirit within. It's rare, and it's beautiful. I sincerely believe Heaven gently leads us to one another..all within His perfect timing and season. I simply wanted to say thank you for staying focused and true..and for allowing my spiritual side to spill out without judgement.

Blessings, Joy and Sunday Sunshine, Terri

How adorable! Three beautiful little girls; all looking SO much alike! :)

Isn't it awesome how God gives us such beautiful gifts of love. The sweetness of our children and grandchildren that pulls on our heartstrings is almost too much to bear sometimes without a tear of blissful happiness! :) (I know...I am hopelessly sentimental!)

Thank you for sharing a delightful celebration!

Hugs, Carolyn
