Did you know that Easter Sunday can fall on 35 possible dates between March 22nd and April 25th? It last fell on March 22nd in the year 1818, and will not do so again until 2285. It landed on March 23 in 2008 (way too early for me!), but will not do so again until 2160. Easter last fell on the latest possible date on April 25th in 1943. But, this year it will fall just one day before that, April 24th, 2011.

When Easter Sunday comes too early in the year the ground in Oklahoma is still mostly brown from our frosty winter weather. Green grass is a must for this Cali native and so I'm extra excited that it falls late in April this year. Who can have an Easter Egg Hunt when the earth feels like dry, cracked hay under your feet?

I hope you are having a great day! I'm over the moon excited about our French Door being installed in our breakfast room this weekend. We are praying it doesn't rain so everything will run smooth! Thanks for all your sweet comments yesterday! Choosing to remove the window seat was tough...but we are loving the extra space!

I hope it does not rain this weekend, too, so you and Mr.AGPMan can get started hanging the French doors....I am sure they will look beautiful and you going to love the extra space created by removing the window seat...wish you could have brought it here and installed it in my house!!! I've always wanted one, along with the French doors!!LOL

Hi Sweetie! I did not know that about Easter but found it very interesting, since Easter is my very favorite Holiday. I dont like it when it is in Match either! I want sun, greenery and a little warmth with my Easter. And I am so glad that my baby will be here just in time for it this year AND, April 24th is also my mom's birthday!
I am dying over those gorgeous pillows, I want them all!! Sooo adorable, you are so talented. My bunnies that you painted stay out year round, I love them sooo much!!

Being a late March baby, my birthday was always in the general neighborhood of Easter and consequentially, from the time I was a little girl, I was given stuffed bunnies because of it. So, I have always had a love affair with all things bunny - and these pillows are just so wonderfully sweet. I'm particularly fond of the crosstitch one! Your altered tags, etc are precious too! It's always a sweet treat to visit your site!
And yes, green grass is an Easter must!!
