~DON'T I GETTA GO? LEAVING ON A JET PLANE~

~YOU'RE NOT LEAVING ME~ARE YOU?"

My Mr. AGPMan and I leave this morning for a little Spring Get-A-Way!  Although our trip was planned in January I wasn't sure until a few days ago if we were going to actually get to go.  I will be back in about a week and I'm sure I'll have more pictures of our trip than you care to see...
 ~SAY IT ISN'T SO!~

Now~even though are daughter, Adrienne, and her hubby will be staying at our home and caring for my little doggie, Mollie (The Molinator!), I must admit I just hate leaving her behind.  She is a 4.5 pound fur-ball of high maintenance energy and she's my 24/7 shadow.  She is eight years old now and I am most certainly her favorite human.
 ~PLEASE TAKE ME!~

If you are a pet-lover you can imagine how it broke my heart to see my beautiful little friend perched safely inside my suitcase.  She would NOT budge...  She knew were were leaving her behind and wasn't going to even allow that!

Gosh...I thought leaving my children on their first day of Kindergarten was tough...WAHHHHHHHHHH! I seriously think I'm gettin' old here!

I'll be missing you while I'm away...  But, given the fact my hubby begins some schooling next month this will be our only chance to escape for quite some time!  Have fun enjoying Spring...I'll be back soon!

Love to you...
PS:  My A Gathering Place website is on hiatus while I'm away!

I hope you have a wonderful time on your Spring Get-A-Way! I can relate to leaving the baby behind. We are going on a cruise later this year for our 40th anniversary and I am stressing over leaving Miss Sophie (who will be 16 in August) for 2 weeks. :( When Sophie was younger she used to get in the suitcase and take out her Daddy's socks. She's always had a thing for his feet! lol
Enjoy your trip!

Dear Rebecca,
She is just lovely!! I know very well that pain of separation. But it is only temporary!! And she won't remember it at all when you return!
Happy Easter!

Wishing you and Mr. AGP Man a wonderful trip, Rebecca.

5 weeks from today I am going on a 13 day trip to Florida. May I say that I just can't wait!!! The only downside is that I am leaving my hubby and kids behind. It's only me taking this trip...my niece is getting married, AND a dear friend is moving to Asia in July. Gotta see her before she's a couple continents away.

I have missed stopping by more regularly, but I know that you understand how it has been with starting back to college. My very best to your husband as he begins school as well.

Love,
Patti

When my hubbin and I visited Scotland last summer, we left our two doggers (Bonnie and Clyde) with my in-laws for a little over three weeks. We missed them terribly (they're 13). They were SO happy to see us when we returned...and we were so happy to see them...but I think the in-laws were happiest of all!

Have a wonderful time!

How adorable! Reminds me of when we came back home from a trip and our pup got into our suitcase while I was unpacking in case we took off again!

Have a great trip and make a lot of pics to share with us!

Happy Easter!

Hi Rebecca, I know you will probably be back when you read this but I'm hoping you have a wonderful trip. I totally understand how hard it is to leave our pups behind but thankfully they don't experience time like we do. Can't wait to see your photos.

Have a wonderful, wonderful time!!! Last year when we went to see our son, we put Bandi in the kennel and she was not happy with us when we came home! Don't think she's gonna let me leave her again!

Dearest Rebecca,

It is heart breaking to let go of our furry babies; that's our dilemma too. They're super at making us almost feel guilty by nesting inside the suitcase... That SPEAKS VOLUME!
Anyway, you enjoy the time on your own, after all the remodeling and other tasks, it is well earned. Hope the bay window area got completely done by now.

Lots of love,

Mariette

Oh, Rebecca, have a wonderful wonderful time!! Vacation get-aways are so awesome and treasured times in our lives!

I also wanted to let you know that I received my Mother's Day cards in the mail that I had ordered from your internet "boutique"....and I LOVE LOVE them!! They are so beautiful and feminine!! Aprons are so sweet anyway but with the pink roses and sparkly glitter...they're seriously the prettiest cards ever!! or should I say EVAH!! :D I might have to add more friends in life who are Mamas to buy more! Haha!

Thank you!!!!!!!!

Hi Rebecca,

Have fun in the sun where ever you may go!

Boy, do I relate to what you are talking about concerning Mollie. My Miss Morgan is my shadow too and she will be 8 years old next month. I set out to buy a puppy and found her at three years old...a breeder was retiring her due to her needing a c-section to have pups...poor baby...I knew when I looked at her that she was mine! She is 5 pounds and just like having a real live baby doll. ♥

Have fun on your trip,
Stephanie ♥

Have a wonderful time sweet friend! I know how you feel about little Molly. I went to Hawaii this last January with my daughter and my Sissie girl was devastated. I missed her so much too! You can see her on my blog when you get back!
Many blessings and love to you,
Sonya

I am away too and every day I call my hubby to check on Bentley. He is so lonely without me. It is the only reason I thought about not going. So I totally understand. My hubs makes sure he is eating and safe. Kids were hard....doggies are another story!!!

You are probably already gone, but I wanted to wish you a happy trip and hope you relax and do a lot of "fun things"!! I know how hard it is to leave Miss Molly...I have a Markie about the same size and she is attached to me 24/7 too. She always KNOWS when I am leaving her, even if just a trip to the grocery store and she runs and hides
under my bed peeking out so pitiful looking, it breaks my heart!!
But I am sure Andrie will be the best substitute mother ever, so you know Molly will be well cared for and loved.....
Just relax and enjoy your time alone with Mr. AGPman....!!!
Hugs, Francy

Pray that you are both have a blast on your little getaway, Rebecca! I know too well how heartbreaking it is to leave your furbaby behind while they look at you with those big brown eyes you can lose yourself in. :) I'm glad, though, that Addy is taking care of her since they know each other. You deserve this time away with your sweet hubby - so enjoy it, sweets! ♥

Hope you have wonderful time, can't wait to see all of your pictures when you get back. I totally understand not wanting to leave you little fur baby, we just went on vacation and had to leave our sweet little babies at home, my mom comes and stays with them, it doesn't bother our little girl dog, but the little boy would prefer to go with us!
hugs~~~ Daphne
