AND SO LIFE GOES...

One never really knows what life holds, do we?  One day you're out minding your own business when a weird slip and fall alters your day to day living in the blink of an eye.

I'm continuing to heal from the fracture in my lower back from almost five weeks ago and each new day brings me closer to feeling like my old self.  I can do almost everything I did before...  I'm just very careful about lifting and bending.  My biggest struggle comes when I turn in for the night.  Sound sleeping still seems to escape me and that, quite honestly, makes me nuts.  Even so, as I've shared before, I'm so thankful I wasn't permanently injured and I'm grateful for good, strong bones.

Last week more big life-changes came to my Mr. AGPMan and I and even though we were initially shaken up a bit by some unexpected news we both know our lives remain in God's hands.  Your prayers are so appreciated as we seek His will for our future.  We are calmly conscious of the Lord's plans for us and know if we continue to look to Him we will not be overwhelmed by the unknown.

Not to sound secretive or mysterious here~   We are both fine and promise to share more about our journey when I can.

Thank you again for your thoughts, emails and notes.

I miss you.

Love to you...

Rebecca, I hope you are as good as new very soon. It's hard to be well when you can't sleep. Isn't it strange how aches and pains can be so much worse when you are in bed?

Hope things are going well for you and your family.

Oh my, yes. I too have learned that your world can be changed in a moment's time. Praying that your healing will be very complete soon and you will be able to rest comfortably and that everything will work out in the newest challenge. All things are possible when your faith is in God.

Hi sweetie! I've been a bad blogging buddy and not popped in to see you in a while. I didn't realize you had fallen and hurt your back. I hope your hand has healed by now. Oh, I will be praying for y'all. We've been in situations where our heads were spinning and just really had to rely totally on God ( should do that anyway )and He always comes through. Not always like we thought He should but how He planned it.
I know your Christian walk and your heart and know you're seeking wisdom and direction and that is what I will pray for.
Blessings,
Shelia ;)

It's so nice to hear about the healing that has been taking place. All I can say about change is that I learned to listen to God and let it happen in HIS time. We little old humans are a very impatient bunch, much like kids at times. Hope your sleep pattern returns to normal...mine is disrupted by the HEAT!! But my sweeties found an AC unit for my bedroom that has a duct like the dryer hose and that should help a bunch since my windows are the crank the window out kind. Most likely the best there was by Anderson when the house was built. Not my choice! Kind of like a used car. You take what comes with it! Take care, my friend!♥♫

I had a fall this week but not much was hurt--just back and blue and a bruised pride! I hope you continue to mend and will be praying God will lead you.

The one thing I know to be true is no matter what our compass may read, HIS is often aimed in another direction and it usually lands me safely where I need to be. NO matter what changes come your way I'm sure you'll find you way through to the other side of the unknown.

I'm so happy your back is healing for you but sad to hear your still have a bit of trouble with your sleep. If there's one thing I know well, it's lack of sleep and it's not fun. I'll keep you in my prayers for continued healing and for God to comfort you and MRAGPM to be comforted during HIS navigation in your life.
Hugs
Tammy

Hi Rebecca, I am so glad that you are on the mend. I know it is very hard to sleep when you can't find a comfortable position to lay in. I know God is who sees me through the ups and downs. It seems sometimes we make two steps forward and then go backwards, but we still stay on the same path with God leading the way. Take care my friend. Many Gentle Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

Glad you continue to heal. I have a bad knee and hip and when it bothers me the most is when I am trying to sleep.

Praying that your journey goes well!

I'm so glad to hear that you are on the mend...I hope you get some sleep, I know how difficult that must be when you are sore and uncomfortable in any position.

Sending many prayers and much love for all the trials you are going through. Hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

it seems that particular place takes quite awhile to heal, I remember! Take it slow and try not to overdue, maybe that will help with the sleep. Hoping that things are alright, I'm a little worried now but I know you are strong in your faith and God will take care of us all. blessings~

Dearest Rebecca,
Glad to read that you slowly are healing from your back fracture. Oh, the other tiding you mentioned, it is like the saying: 'When it rains, it pours'.
But trusting God indeed, we will make it through.
Talking about rain, we have had more rain in the past 6 weeks than we ever had while living here. So glad our new roof and improved gutters held up and no more water in the basement. Also grateful that our diligent painters finished our exterior JIT = Just In Time. Exactly the minute they left it started pouring down...
Hugs to you,
Mariette

Rebecca..you know I will always hope for the very best for you and your loved ones. I have so many things around my home that reminds me of you and all the years I have known of you. In practically every room that is something you painted or made. I didn't know of your fall but I am pleased you are healing nicely. I hope your news was not anything overwhelming and something that can be fixed..

Rebecca have you ever heard the song the 'McKameys' sing; 'Sometimes He Calms the Storm, Sometimes He Calms Me?' It holds true for us all. And as I always remind myself 'this too shall pass.' God Bless you and your family and guide you safely through life's storms. Trisha

Dear, sweet Rebecca, I have been so worried about your injury and praying for your speedy recovery. You are very special to me, although we have never met. I guess it is your spirit I am drawn to and your love for our Lord. I trying not to make a pat comment or just quote a verse that will make it all better, but when push comes to shove, what else do we have but His love and friendship amongst us all. Hugs, Judy from Arizona

Hi Rebecca,
May His healing power and comfort be with you! I know what you are talking about the nights. I broke four ribs in December. Walking and sitting were fine for me, but the nights were the worst part of my healing.
Blessings,
~Wendy

Rebecca,

Thank God that you continue to heal. Continue to take it easy and whatever else our most high sends along the way, remember, the power of prayer is very powerful. You already know that, I really don't have to remind you.

Take care and our prayers will continue to go your way!
