~WILL YOU PRAY? Where Two or Three Are Gathered...~

~WILL YOU PRAY?~

Dear Blogger, Website and eBay Friends...

This afternoon I received a phone call from my youngest sister, Jen, sharing with me the news that our brother-in-law suffered a stroke early this morning. Greg is the husband of my older sister, Linda, and he is not quite 52 years old. Greg is a wonderful Christian husband and father and has been a beacon of strength for my sister for almost 30 years. He serves faithfully as Worship Leader in a church outside of Nashville and is dearly loved by many.

At this time I only have a little bit of news... I know at present there are some physical problems associated with those who have experienced a stroke. Greg is currently undergoing an MRI that will hopefully tell us more...we are waiting for the results.

Will those of you who believe in the power of prayer, pray? I believe in a healing, loving, merciful Jesus and I know He is in the midst of all of this uncertainty. Pray especially for God's healing touch and for peace to come over Greg, my sister and her children. These are difficult days...

Blessings as you lift up those you love to the Most High...Rebecca ...and...thank you! :....(

May you all find comfort in knowing that our Lord God is holding up your Greg. We will pray that the healing hands of the Drs. are guided to tend to all of Greg's medical needs, while the Lord is tending to his spiritual & physical support.

Sometimes, Rebecca, when a stroke is caught in time there is no residual affects at all, or very minor issues.

Our heart is & prayers are lifted for you all. Please keep us posted. IN TH ~ Hugs, Marydon

I'm so sorry for your loved ones. My Dad had a small stroke at 53 and thank goodness he has recovered. He was off work for three months due to dizziness. It took a while to get his blood pressure under control. Thankfully he had no paralysis to contend with.It was a very scary time. I pray your family makes it through to the other side where your brother in law is restored to full health.

As with the rose, it is by believing in the healing power of God that one is healed.
I believe this...and I wish this to be so for Greg.

Saying a prayer for Greg & his family..... He is so young although there is no "right" age for a stroke. He is younger than me I this humbles me greatly.
You are all in my thoughts & prayers.....

Your BIL and sister have just been prayed over. I am also praying for you and your family as well. I know only to well how hard it is to be away from loved ones when they are hurting because we want to be near to help. Believing GOD's will, WILL be done!
