~In Honor of Amy Dawn~
I am dwelling on the mountain,
Where the golden sunlight gleams
O'er a land whose wondrous beauty
Far exceeds my fondest dreams,
Where the air is pure, ethereal,
Laden with the breath of flowers,
They are blooming by the fountain,
'Neath the amaranthine bow'rs.
Is not this the Land of Beulah?
Blessed, blessed land of light;
Where the flowers bloom forever,
And the sun is always bright.
I can see far down the mountain,
Where I wandered weary years,
Often hindered in my journey,
By the ghosts of doubt and fears;
Broken vows and disappointments,
Thickly sprinkled all the way,
But the Spirit led, unerring,
To the land I hold today.
Is not this the Land of Beulah?
Blessed, blessed land of light;
Where the flowers bloom forever,
And the sun is always bright.
I am drinking at the fountain,
Where I ever would abide,
For I've tasted life's pure river,
And my soul is satisfied;
There's no thirsting for life's pleasures,
Nor adorning rich and gay,
For I've found a richer treasure,
One that fadeth not away.
Is not this the Land of Beulah?
Blessed, blessed land of light;
Where the flowers bloom forever,
And the sun is always bright.
Tell me not of heavy crosses,
Nor the burdens hard to bear,
For I've found this great salvation
Makes each burden light appear;
And I love to follow Jesus,
Gladly counting all but dross,
Worldly honors all forsaking,
For the glory of the cross.
Is not this the Land of Beulah?
Blessed, blessed land of light;
Where the flowers bloom forever,
And the sun is always bright.

How perfect! Thank you so much for this very beautiful tribute. It is funny how sad it is to have our loved ones go to be with our Lord. Because that is how it should be and we should be happy, but it is hard.
Thank you!
Hugs, Lisa
Just now finding out. What a beautiful tribute.

Oh Rebecca, I so love you and cherish our friendship so much. Thank you for honoring Amy and for stopping by this morning.
I would so love for you to be there at the service for me. My heart is so heavy this morning, as I would so love to be there. I guess it was just not meant to be. We each have a time and minute, and Amy's was not while I was there.
Moma was with Debbie and Richard, and I believe Leila was also. She was surrounded by so much love.
Please email me when you get a chance. We will talk off line.
I love you so much sweet friend. I wish I had a new heart this morning, as this one is so aching. I will cherish every moment that I had with Amy, but you know sweetie, it was not enough. Just not enough. All my love, Sherry

How sweet of you ~r~,
To think of others' as their hearts are heavy .. I pray too, that the Lord comforts, and wrap HIS loving arms around each of them !! It's been a long road for each of them, But, oohh what a fighter she was, and her will to continue to go on, amazing .. Now, may she be whole again, and in the midst of her Maker .. What more could we want .. Prayers and thoughts to each of them ..
Blessings and love ~

Amy's Family!

I think a lot of us fellow bloggers are devastated at the loss of Amy. We all felt like we knew her in some small way through the words of her Mom, Aunt, and Cousin. They must all be feeling such a tremendous loss, even knowing she was released from her suffering. I'm afraid it will get worse before it gets better too, especially for Sherry. They are all in my prayers. It was a beautiful tribute Rebecca.
Such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful young woman, Bless you Rebecca and I'm praying for her family.

Such a lovely song, I've always loved it. Amy is now dancing on the streets of gold with our young Sam (Samantha) and having a glorious time with the Lord!
Hugs, Sherry
