Our Miss K at 4 Months Old(And Her VERY blond Nana!) :)
On November 13, 2002 I became a Nana. I couldn't possibly have known it then, but the bald headed little beauty you see in my arms was destined to change my life. Our sweet Miss K was only a few months old when this picture was taken back in early 2003. Today this beautiful little girl celebrated turning SEVEN! Where have the years gone???
Since Miss K has remained our only grandchild (at least for now!), I'm sure you can imagine how much attention she gets!!! She reminds me soooo much of her daddy (my son, Brandon) when he was her age...

I found out yesterday that I am to be a "great Aunt" for the second time. I love babies, mine are 6 and 12 so no grandchildren for a little while. My sister says she feels so old being a nana at 41....I say rubbish....they give a new lease of life...like they are meant to eh?!

My granddaughter/grandniece, Sloane,(that relationship is explained on my first post) was born just two days and many years after I was. She has been a delight in my life for 8 years the 9th of this month. I know how you feel! Please tell her "Happy Birthday"!

Isn't it amazing how these tiny little babies come into our lives and just steal our hearts? You obviously love and adore your granddaughter very much. I became a Nana the summer of 2007 and my life was changed forever in the best way possible. I can't remember life before my precious Miss M. Oh, Rebecca, this so touched my heart today! Miss K is gorgeous! I feel the same way about my precious grandgirls, and even though I have two, I just adore them so much...they have changed my life, and I can't imagine ever being so happy before they came along. My son has no idea how much I love them.
