OK Peeps! Here's the skinny...
On the rare occasion my Mr. AGPMan is out of town I never share it publicly for obvious reasons. So...all this week while I've been snowed in here in my La Chaumière de Briarwood I've been alone. My guy left the morning the winter storm hit and since Monday I haven't even attempted to leave our home! I hunkered down all by my lonesome, but truthfully have nearly gone totally stir-crazy bonkers INSANE while waiting for my hubby to return! This Cali native doesn't do so well when she can't get out and about... Friday night and the return of my "He Can Do Anything Man" couldn't get here fast enough for me!
Midday yesterday I found out that my Baber's plane was probably not going to make it home on schedule. He's been in Washington, DC, on business and it was his flight to Dallas that was in question. :( Bummer! BUMMER I SAY!
Anyway...if you've been a reader of my blog for any time at all you know I started Weight Watchers a couple days after Christmas. I've been doing awesome (AWESOME I SAY) and LOVE LOVE LOVE their new Points Plus Program (and I'm down almost 20lbs). When my hubby told me about all the canceled flights I nearly died! So-o-o-o-o-o-o-o...in a moment of weakness
I Ates-Meez-A-Chocolate-Dipped-Oreo-Cookie
and I'll have you know that single little confection just cost me five big ones (Weight Watchers Points)!
Now...that may not mean very much to you but when you're only allowed to consume twenty-nine points per day (not including Flex Points) blowing five of them on ONE MEASLY NON-FILLING COOKIE is crazy-stupid!
Somebody slap me, pleeze!!!! Good thing I don't have a weakness for truly worldly-type pleasures. My sincere disappointment over not seeing my hubbs last night could have led to my total demise!
So I ask you...do you think an extra 15 minutes on my exercise bike was enough to absolve me of my Oreo Sin?
Love to you from the ever shrinking (and healthy-bound!)

That was way more than enough time.. I say go for another OREO. They lok yummy!!!'
Have a blessed day.
Rebecca,
You are so sweet :)
Of course the 15 minutes will take away the calories the Oreo put on :)
Congrats on loosing 20 lbs since Christmas!!
I have been wanting to do either Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers but I haven't gotten off my fat butt to do either one :( I needed to since I am going on a cruise (Squeal) at the end of this month
Good luck!!!
Suzann xoxoxo
Love that you have lost 20 pounds! Congratulations.
How in the world did you only eat one cookie? That is very hard! But I am proud of you.
I love your sense of humor.
I am a California girl too but have lived away for 34 years. I do not function well in the cold and snow...but it is pretty to look at from inside of the house here in Kansas!
Have a good Saturday!

Oh you naughty girl! I have been wanting one of those cookies since you posted on making them! Shame on you for eating one and not sharing with me:) I am totally familiar with WW points, not points plus but I know how it works! Good for you losing that weight and getting in shape! I know your Hubby will be happy to get back home to his slim wife! Have a blessed weekend, HUGS!
Cute! Was it worth the 5 points?
I can't email thru blog...can you email me privately. I am in dire need of loosing and I want to know what the BIG diff is between the old way and their new way. Should I rejoin? You are inspiring me to join. I've been praying for help and a sign. Is you post my sign? LOL xo
Keep up the good work. That is A LOT down since right after Christmas!!!
You give me hope cuz I'm at the end of my rope!
xo

You know in WW they always say to move on. I'll tell you a secret...I can eat a whole bag of Oreos and have done it many times. We practically can't buy them because I love them so much. You are doing so well. Keep it up!
I had to tell you a secret I learned at WW a few years ago. Jello Dark Chocolate pudding cup with just a smidge of whipped topping. It's only about 65 calories of chocolate yumminess. :) I just had one.
Well, I can understand how you felt all alone and missing your MrAGPMan and then not able to get out of the house besides!! I am so proud of you for gobbling only ONE of those delicious cookies of yours
I think your time spent on your indoor bike was enough to cover it, don't you!??
Congratulations on how well you are coming along with WW's diet..
good for you!!
I hope hubbs can make it in today
Sunshine here after nearly a week of sleet and rain...just hope all the football fans arriving in Dallas doesn't delay him further!
Take care..Love, Francy
Oreo Sin? You are forgiven, my child.
I know how you feel, Rebecca...I joined WW 2 weeks ago and I hoard all my points for meals. 5 points for one lousy cookie seems so unfair!! But you had a good excuse. My hubby was almost snowed in at the Ft. Meyers airport in Florida last Tuesday, his was the last flight out before the blizzard hit Chicago. If he hadn't made it, I would have probably been hitting the ice cream!
Hurray for losing those 20 lbs!! Yay!
XO,
Jane
Rebecca I am chuckling more than you know. My SH is out of town and I just got back from the grocery store and I am staring at and SMELLING the most heavenly petite vanilla cupcakes. I think they used vanilla beans in them. HEAVEN!! Honestly I will spend an extra 30 minutes on the tred-mill for these babies.
Big weekend hugs, Sue
Only you can answer that question. Was it worth it? They look absolutely divine! But... congratulations on losing the 20 pounds. I know from experience how very hard that is to do! I'm proud of you!
Most definitely think it does work for me.
I so need to lose weight. Congratulations on you loss.
i would have eaten the entire bag!
congratulations on losing the 20
pounds! that pretty amazing.
sorry about all the snow, but we LOVE
it. :)
Good on you Rebecca! Keep at it and you will see great results! I'm praying for you and your weight loss. It is tough as we get older... but YOU CAN DO IT!
The cookies are too beautiful to eat...... however.... I'd go for it too.
20#'s..... good for you!
You're so cute and sweet!!!! I love the passion you have for your Mr. AGP Man.....
Hugs,
Well I think you have such great will power.. to only eat one! I know for sure I can't stop at one, and probably would have devoured 3 atleast! lol! Don't be too hard on yourself .. you are doing really great! I need to lose a few kgs too or lbs.. but just can't seem to get motivated yet! take care, Maryann ps loved your last post and all the beautiful pics with your son!
Rebecca,
WOW!! 20 pounds since Christmas!! Congrats to you!
I would have to have my mouth sutured shut to lost that amount of weight. And i so need to lose double if not triple that. Where is that needle and thread????

Oh I don't know, I am on WW and loving the new system, I lost 6.5 the first week and 2# the second week. It really works! I did the old system off and on my whole life, this is sooo much better! The new system really punishes you for carbs....You want an oreo...Pay up! LOL!!
Carol
Only one cookie...your will power is amazing.
Keep up the great work in the WW program.
Have a blessed Sunday!
Congrats on the 20lbs. I make sweets all the time. I am a choc junkie. But I ride my exercise bike to work it off. Oh if I could just say no to choc. We have had snow all week and more coming wed. But I have been getting out. You all have it the worst. Take care and I hope hubby is home soon.
