~Thank You~
Just a little note this morning to thank you for your kind thoughts and comments yesterday regarding the changes in my life! Each visit with me meant more than I can say... I feel great about where I'm going and what I'm doing and for the first time in many months I totally zonked out last night and slept very, very well.
De-stressing is a good thing.
And so is NOT running ahead of God.
I spent most of the weekend going through a great deal of shoppe/booth merchandise and much of it you will eventually see offered for sale on-line. It's going to take me a bit to go through it all but I'll get there. I use to collect vintage sewing patterns from the 1930's-1970's (lots of children's, too) and many will be sold off in LOTS on eBay. Things like vintage pink rose plates, etc. will be offered on my website later this week and I hope you'll take some time to check them all out. Way too many things to try and fit them all back into my home.
Christmas in July was a great success and thank you so much for ALL the purchases and special orders (wow...all those Stockings and Pillows!) you sent my way. I will absolutely be doing it again next year!
Today I will be working in my studio. I'm FINALLY getting back to painting some sweet new things that have been on the back burner for far too long. It feels great to be able to focus on one business and to not feel so incredibly scattered and overwhelmed.
Thank you again for blessing me and taking the time to offer up such loving words.
You all are the BEST!
Love to you this beautiful Monday~

We have great friends here in blogland. Hope you have a blessed and productive day. Hugs
I'm so glad you are less stressed today. I was in the wholesale craft business for 18-20 years. It will eat up your life (and your nerves) if you let it.
You'll do great whatever path you take.
love ya!

I'm just now coming back to visit your site after a month of traveling. The Lord will bless you, I'm sure, for reshuffling your priorities, responsibilities, etc. We all should do that more often! May you have the wisdom and strength to do all that needs to be done.

I find change is not always easy even if I know that it is for the best.
Best of luck with what ever you do..... Your art is lovely & I am sure your faithful customers will follow you anywhere!
Have a Great Day!

Hello Rebecca... so glad you are at peace with things, and finally had a good nights sleep! I can't wait to see what you will be offering on your online shop! Wishing you a beautiful, stress~free now day! xoxo Julie Marie
Congrats on a good night's sleep! ♥
I'm glad you are doing well. Blog land has helped me a lot since my husband's stroke June 14th. He is home and we are coping on a day to day level for now..
I know I was supposed to find my way here today! My daughter and I have been struggling with the same decision as to whether to open a shop, or not. I am feeling so conflicted about. I just read your previous post and think that I now know what I should do...I think online is going to be the way for us to go too. I am blessed to have a daughter that is a computer whiz and has done setups for other people...so why not for herself (oh yeah..and me).
I think God leads us where we are supposed to go. We are supposed to give a decision to the man that owns the property this week. I feel like a long, serious chat with my daughter is going to happen tonight or tomorrow. Thank you-you are a voice of reason that speaks loud and clear over the excitement of a new "journey". Bless you!
ps...glad you got a good night's sleep and that you feel like you made the right decision. Diana
oh, I know how hard it is...very time consuming, I don't think people truly understand!!! I think just keeping your web selling site is perfect, and you could always do a show now and then if you aquire to much stuff...take care!
Morning Rebecca,
Good choice...sometimes we need to sit back and as you said...Let God lead :)
Having a booth is work...I have 2 of them and it keeps me busy!
Warmly,
deb :)
Rebecca,
I am so glad to hear that you slept well and seem at peace with your decision!
It has to be what feels right for you and no one else!
I took a step back last year from doing my crafts and didn't do any Craft Fairs or even make anything for a year.
When I did start up again, I had a new lease on what I wanted to do and how to do it. I vowed that I would have my own "shop" by the end of the year and that dream has come true!!
And so far, I am still having fun!
I don't want it to feel like a job because I already have a job!!
LOL!!
Hugs,
Debbie
I know that as you adjust to not having your shop and put your energy into your other business you will be blessed. Having some time to just be is so important to all of us. Thanks for all your share on your blog.
Hi Rebecca; I am so happy to hear that your stress level is a lot lower... I hope your week is a lovely one full of love and joy....
Hugs;
Alaura
It's great that it helped with the stress issue. We can become totally stressed when we get too much on our plates. Glad you could sleep last night!
Hi there,
I joined bloggerrette Sorority recently and just came by to say hello. You have some wonderful things and your blog is beautiful. Please come by and see me sometime too. I just signed up to be a follower :) Happy Monday, Kim
Sometimes we have to just sit back and reevaluate. I have had to do a lot of that in my life lately. I fight it, but then realize it is for the best! glad you are going to be able to relax some!!
Wishing you all the best!
I love visiting your blog...the graphics and layout is beautiful.
Hugs, Sharon
Hi Rebecca, I have had you on my mind! I must tell you, you are one of the lovliest and most successful blogging gals I know. Yet you always take time to make each person that visits you feel so welcomed. I wish this old world were filled with more Rebecca's! I mean that sincerely. Thank you for all your sweet creative treasures. Your kind caring attitude and just the fact that you are you! I always manage to break into a big smile when I come by. Thank you for your friendship. Anne
Rebecca,
Thank you for sharing your journey and reminding us of how God is interested in ALL that we do. Even for us artists!! You will continue to bring beauty into the world and that is a joy to behold!!!
I'm looking forward to seeing what happens.

De-stressing is so important in this hussle and bussle time we're living in.....
Have fun and keep up your beautiful creative work.
Blessings
Dear Rebecca, thank you, thank you for coming by and leaving such caring thoughts with me. I see you have had your own issues to deal with lately and I'm glad to hear your at peace with the direction your going. I hope your healing well from your procedure. It is so awful to be nauseous from meds. I hate that you had to spend 2 long days like that.
Thanks again for reminding me that God has his own plan and to wait for him to reveal it instead of running ahead and wasting a tremendous amount of energy in stress when I don't need to.
Be bless Sweetie. You're in my prayers. Hugs...Tracy :)
Hi Rebecca,
I just came from Nancy's blog and saw your comment there. I was attracted by your name, I love your name and if I had ever had a daughter it would have been Rebecca. I didn't have a daughter so you are the first Rebecca I have found in blogland. I have become a follower and hope you will come a visit me sometime soon.
Friends, Fern
Sweet Rebecca - May God bless you as you begin a new journey on the path that He has placed you on. Continue to trust Him and he will continue to open your eyes to new and exciting things He has in His plan for you! :)
Peace, friend.

Rebecca, sounds like you are doing the right thing in closing your booth and concentrating on your website..Sometimes we need a change to refresh our minds and soul.
You are always so kind and I look forward to visiting you! Thanks for being Y.O.U.!
hugs

Hi Rebecca! - I too have been working on de-stressing. Going through my inventory and getting things more manageable. Getting the house in order for a partial redo. You are so considerate to allow your husband more of his own time. Love, love, love the postcard images!! Thank you for sharing them with us.
