Last night my Mr. AGPMan and I did what we do one time every year.
We went to the Oklahoma State Fair!
We had a wonderful time doing nothing but enjoy the scenery!
Spent a lot of time looking at exhibits
(love seeing who and what won blue ribbons!)
and even tried out the Tempurpedic TempurCloud Mattress!
(LOVED IT!)
We also witnessed a few peeps getting busted for one thing or another...
But...OUR FAVORITE thing to do was to go OFF of our Weight Watchers Maintenance Plans (yep...still follow it!) to share ONE plate of
FAMOUS DAN'S INDIAN TACOS!
I honestly think by the time we walked around the Fairgrounds
and then all the way back to
and then all the way back to
our SUV we burned off most of the calories.
(I think it helped that we skipped the cheese!)
Only eight more weeks of schooling for my Mr. AGPMan and he is OUT!
November is almost here! YEAH!
Our lives are going to return to normal...

Dearest Rebecca,
That is great for letting go of ALL daily routine for once. You certainly enjoyed it together, according to your photos. Smart for doing lots of walking and skipping the cheese.
Have a great weekend and yes, the end of this year will have a very special meaning to both of you!
Hugs,
Mariette
Hi Rebecca. I think the first time I tried Indian tacos were at the Oklahoma State Fair when I lived in a small town south of Tulsa called Okmulgee, that's where I grew up. I have made these things forever and I love them and I know you do too! I kinda cheat sometimes and use self rising flour. Thanks for reminding me that I need to make up a batch! xoxo's Pam
Love the pics of you and your DH enjoying your Indian tacos! So nice that you are having such a special time at the State Fair! Blessings!
So glad you made it to the fair..looks like the rain stayed away! Looks like you enjoyed those tacos--you have to eat bad at the fair. It is the rule. I always have a big greasy Korndog and then wonder why I did it. :)
