~SHABBY CHIC TRANSFORMATION UNDERWAY~

~LOVELY VINTAGE CHAIRS~

Wanna know something?  I have a thing for old chairs.  I do!  They just seem to call out my name whenever and where ever I find them!  I'm especially in LOVE with the ones that have fabric seats!  YUM!

These charming vintage chairs were found in Tennessee and some of what I hauled home in that U-Haul trailer I told you about a couple of days ago!

Now...HOPEFULLY by Sunday I'll have the two matching ones painted and reupholstered.  I plan on finishing them up tomorrow!  The cushions are actually called slipper-seats (or slipper-chairs) because they lift completely off.  Isn't that neat?

Stayed tuned!  I'm sooo excited about showing you their absolutely 2die4 makeover.  They are coming out fabuloso!  EEK!  SQUEAL!
More soon...

Blessings for a lovely weekend~

Can't wait to see their make-over! My favorite is the one with the side arms. Boy, sounds like you're all rested up and back to being a very busy gal again :) You're like me, when you get started on something, you just can't seem to stop until it is all finished :) Have a great, creative weekend!

Yeah another chair person. Now I can tell my husband I am not the only one. I keep telling him, they jump in my car when I am not looking, and they beg to be taken home for me to give them "a little love" as my son would say. Can't wait to see what you do with them.

These chairs are so pretty. I love chairs too. I have several old ones in storage. I want to paint them but I work so much...can't find any extra time. These are going to be beautiful when you get through with them.

Hugs,
Lee Laurie

P.S. I smiled when I read about y'all having to rent a U-Haul to bring home your treasures! :)

Hi Sweetie!
I was so glad to see you are home safe and sound. I have been very busy...as dd is in softball till she graduates!

I KNOW your chairs will be absolutely LOVELY, cause you have the Master's touch!

Oh and I am sure your sis was so glad to have all your help in decorating. Any hubby's craftmanship! I miss my sis who would be my biggest helper/cohort in decorating...some day, maybe we will live closer and again share that sweet fellowship.

I do have an email I need to send to you, but was waiting til your return!

Tata...my sweet friend!

I love the post with you and your sister. I am sure that you two had a great time together. And I would love to get a peek into that U-Haul.
