WINTER 1977
Sometimes
life gets really busy
and I forget who I am,
where I am going
and just who it is that's helping me get there.
For over thirty years
my beloved and I
have journeyed together
down a path towards oneness.
The long, winding roads
have taken us deep into the valley,
directed us towards the highest mountain
and somewhere in between.
On a daily basis the
husband of my youth
reminds me to live
life to the fullest...
To face each new morning
with renewed hope and purpose
and to never wander far
from the pathway God has prepared for me.

"Now and then it's good to pause in our
pursuit of happiness and just be happy."

Love to you...

Dearest Rebecca,
Indeed, it is good to stand still in this hectic cyber-age time and look back... How far we've come! And with a partner a our side that went through the deepest valleys and up onto the highest peeks, that really dictates to: JUST BE HAPPY!
Thanks for this precious insight.
Love to you both,
Mariette
Hi Rebecca, You are one of the lucky people who has found her soul mate. You have been there for each other and taken you vows very seriously. To have someone to share the good times and bad through all the ups and downs is wonderful. I love seeing your pictures. We are working on our 49th year coming this October. I want to at least make 50, but who knows what hand they will be dealt. Have a great day and I love your mirror. It is wonderful to keep memories. Hugs Your Missouri Friend.
Hello Rebecca

what a Gorgeous Post!!
Thank YOU for sharing this picture, this story, and the fact that you are still married to The Husband of Your Youth.
The old photo albums in our home have lots of pictures that look very very similar to the one you posted. The 70's and 80's were a hoot weren't they?
I am so very glad that The Husband of My Youth is still around and that he is still The Love Of My Life.
Blessings to You and Yours.
In Him,
Grace
