~PINK SATURDAY...A Fun Pink Me Up~

~OLD SHELF FULL OF PRETTIES~

Hello my sweet pink lovin' peeps!  I hope this lovely ***PINK SATURDAY*** finds you happy and well!  I've been layin' low for the past couple of days trying to make myself feel good about a REALLY TOUGH decision I had to make earlier in the month!  It's good to get back to thinking clearly again!  Thank you Miss Beverly of HOW SWEET THE SOUND for hosting our weekly party!  I hope each of you visiting with me today will mosey on over and check out some of the other parteeee goers!  It's always fun and more pink than you can imagine!
(I hope you'll go visit Miss Wanda at Victorian Home 1885 to see her pink pretties!)

My first offering at the top is of a sweet vintage shelf I purchased earlier in the week at one of my favorite antique shops in OKCity!  I filled her up with some of my past PINK OFFERINGS!
~SWEET PINK PAPER ROSES~
Aren't these roses wonderful?  A little Tussy Mussy was fashioned out of three of them!  Sweet!
~VINTAGE PINK COIN BANK~

Isn't this the neatest thing?  It's an old coin saver!  Not sure how old it is but my guess would be that it hails from the 1950's!
~OLD INSPIRATION PRINT~

I love this old print.  It hangs in my studio!
~Vintage Pink Candlesticks~

I found these darling old candles, brand new-old stock, at a local estate sale about a year ago.  I burned them once (I hate unburned candles) and now I just look at them!  New tapers can't compare.  Yummo!
~PINK TREASURE CURIO~

I showed this charming pink Curio Cabinet sometime last year.  It is filled up with some of my most favorite pink finds!
~Vintage Pink Rose Hat~

I bought this darling old hat at a Flea Market two Saturdays ago.  It's petite and a little funky and sweet~  But...
~Vintage Pink Rose Hat~

This one steals my breath away!  I purchased this one at an estate sale in June for $15.  EEK!  SCORE!
~Vintage Pink Rose Ensemble~

I have a real weakness for vintage rose dishes.  This little trio is a real keeper!
~Vintage Sewing Machine Cover~

Sometime last year I purchased this old sewing machine case/cover in Guthrie, OK.  It was a grayish black and was filthy dirty.  I brought her home and repainted her with several coats of cottage white paint!  Of all the things I've ever painted pink roses on this one little beauty remains my favorite.  I kept her, too!
~PINK ROSE MANNEQUIN PILLOW~

Last week the little cottage pillow above sold on my A Gathering Place Website.  One of my longtime buyers bought it and then sent me the picture below to show me how it was displayed.
~PINK MANNEQUIN GIRL~

I've never seen a Mannequin and/or Dress Form made with a little Shelf and thought it was the coolest thing!  My friend bought the pillow especially to display inside it!  Haven't found such a thing in Oklahoma! (Thanks Miss M for allowing me to use the photo!).

And...that wraps up my PINK PRETTIES for this week friends!  Hope you enjoyed the tour!

Blessings for an awesome weekend!

Love to you~

All so soft and sweet, Rebecca!!

You hate unburned candles? I think I do, too! It never occured to me to just light them for a bit and then blow them out for a useful look. Thanks!

What really caught my eye were your sweet book covers! I think that's the best idea and so pretty too! ♥

Hi Rebecca :) Oh my, Love your PS post this week; it is overflowing with lovely pinkalicious goodies! Love your sweet vintage shelf, cabinet, and OMGoodness, those gorgeous rose hats! I am soooo wanting to find one of those Mannequins with the shelf inside!! You MUST ask her where she found that!

Happy Pink Saturday to you my fellow pink lovin' girl!!

Warmest hugs, Brenda

My sweet friend Michele said the Mannequin/Dress Form was purchased at a HOME GOODS STORE in Northern California. We don't have them here in Oklahoma. The closest one to me is in Dallas...and it is really a glorified Marshall's. Did you know Marshall's, TJ Maxx and Home Goods are all owned by the SAME parent company!

Happy Hunting!

Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for the visit. I'm so happy I dropped by. Your blog is BEAU-TI-FUL! I've been thinking lately if I should paint my antique round oak kitchen table. I'm becoming a lover of shabby antique white. I'm just nervous about making a proper mess. I understand the difficulty of making decisions. I've been battling a big one for 3 years. Yes, 3 whole long years. My father passed away and left his house to my sister and I. We cant decide if we will keep it or sell it. He pretty much built it you see so that's why its difficult. Anyhow thanks for posting such beauty. Its very uplifting.

Hello Rebecca... ooh, I am so in love with all of your goodies... as you say, YUMMO! Those hats are beautiful and that first photo of your shelf really stole my heart! I would love to come "shopping" at your house! For all of the ladies asking about the dressform, remember my Nature girl dress form in my Where Bloggers Create post? Well, that opens up too and there is a little shelf inside... I got that in a little shop in Bountiful that is only open on Thursdays and Saturdays... they have LOTS of the cream~white colored ones like you showed that are open in the front with the little shelf... they had shown a plant in one and it looked pretty too... the shop is called Real Deals and they might ship them, not sure...that is the only place I have seen those, but they had alot and they are $69.99...hey, maybe I should get commission if anyone orders one, tee hee hee! Please tell little Miss K her friend Julie Marie said hi! xoxo Julie Marie
