~PINK SATURDAY...Lots of Fabulous PINK STUFF~

I missed joining in the FUN of Pink Saturday last week because...um...well...I forgot to tell Miss Beverly of HOW SWEET THE SOUND that I was going to take part! I hope you'll visit as many pink lovin' peeps as you can this weekend! Thank you again, Miss B, for hosting our party week after week!  I always have so much fun and find many fabulous bloggers, too!

Now...are you ready for some more PINK-ME-UP?  This week I have a true menagerie of goodies for you!

My first little offering is the sweet old PINK Tape Dispenser you see at the top!  I found this fabulous vintage beauty at a garage sale about 5 years ago.  I think it was a quarter!  SCORE!
My next offering was definitely more than twenty-five cents!  I use more PINK Epson INK than any other color!  Gee...WONDER WHY!
I use tons and tons of buttons in my business and the PINK ones always seem to dwindle down first.  I can never have enough of these wonderful old finds!
I love to drink tea, I love to display tea and I love to share tea with my customers!  When I can find it wrapped in PINK...well, you know!  Gotta get it!
Something else I use a whole lot of is ribbon.  The stack you see above is about 1/6th of the vintage pink ribbon I've collected over the years.  Ribbon is NOT created equal,.  I'm not sure WHAT they call the stuff they sell at the fabric stores these days...feels like spun plastic to me!  Love the silk-rayon-cotton combos from days gone by!  YUM!  And...if I find it in PINK it always comes home with me!
Now...if I can find aging Ombre Ribbon (or French Ribbon) even if it's new it's always a keeper.  This PINK and white variegated ribbon is 2die4 (thank you again, Glenda!).
I love to paint PINK Roses and I'm excited about the new hand painted offerings that will soon be coming your way!  This is an old door that hangs in my upstairs hallway.  PINK ROSES RULE!
Here's another sweet estate sale find!  I can't be for certain but I do believe this old PINK necklace was four bucks!  I purchased it some time ago and it hangs over a little mirror in my bedroom.
I love to make image pillows using the reproduced paintings of Miss Cathrine Klein.  She is my FAVORITE vintage postcard artist and her work is a true inspiration for me.  I thought for years she painted with oils...just recently I discovered she was a watercolor artist!  This little PINK and creamy white Pillow that showcases a bit of her artwork sits on top of my bed.
Last but not least...

While I was meandering around my home deciding what to photograph for you I stumbled upon my Miss K's faux cell-phone.  Well now...you KNOW I have to include something that belongs to our sweet girl!  I wonder in 50 years if this cheap little thing will be worth something?  Everyone and their Momma thought KIDDLES were cheap little toys and now look what they bring!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  I'm working on a Lampshade Tutorial and hope to bring it to you soon!

Love to you this lovely Summer Saturday~

I am amazed that the C.Klein artwork is a watercolor. Such detail, she was an artist. Even if the Dora phone is worth nothing 50 years from now, it's priceless to Miss K right now! Thanks for getting me in the pink!

Hello Rebecca... that was so much fun chatting with you again yesterday! Your vintage pink tape dispenser is so wonderful! And I love all of your pretty pink ribbons, and the pink buttons are most beautiful! Your pillow is so gorgeous... there's just something about yours that sets them apart... the word that comes to my mind is "exquisite"! And little Miss K's cellphone is darling, just like her! Wishing you a beautiful weekend... xoxo Julie Marie

Isn't it crazy what our old toys are now bringing on the market and ebay, honey?

My daughter called me one day all atwitter about her old Miss Beasley doll and asked where it was. I told her I probably threw it out along with other stuff. She said, "Mom, do you know what those things are bringing on ebay now?!" I think she blew a gasket that day. Hah

Happy pink saturday, chick!

Connie

'Morning sweet Rebecca,
I love all your pinks; especially the ones painted on the door! Love your beautiful pillow and the darling cut-out heart holding PINK tea! How pretty, and so fabulous of you to serve your customers tea from that. I'm impressed and would love to walk into your shop and have some! Happy Pink Saturday and enjoy your weekend. May it be filled with a soft breeze and the scent of pink roses upon it.

Dear Beck, Sad to say I have not sewn for nearly two years now. I sold off about 95% of my fabric and gave away a lot of bits and bobs. The desire to sew just left me and I just decided one day to let everything go.

I am enjoying the digital art and I still do some crafting but not a lot of that either. Don't know why but I lost my joy in it!!!

So for me the next best thing is keeping up with everyone else's and enjoying their creations. Beck can you send me your address as I have something that I want to send to you. I am hoping that Mr.AGPman can do something with it. It is crying out for your painting and fixing.

Hugs, Maureen.

Thanks for stopping by today and for your sweet comments. I always love hearing from encouraging, uplifting YOU.

Thanks also for letting me know what you do with the heart-shape molds. That is NOT an option for me, as I don't know how to paint. I guess my molds will continue to sit idly by in my cupboard.

I LOVE your hand-painted roses and your pillows. I am entering into a new season of life, as my last homeschooler has finished high school. Not sure when our adoption will pan out, so for the time being, I'm in a very free season of life. perhaps I'll take some painting classes and learn to paint, and maybe if I'm lucky I'll be able to do something 1/10th as beautiful as what you do.

Have a lovely weekend.

Love,
Patti

Hi Rebecca,

Oh my gosh, and to think I didn't know about Epson selling PINK ink!!! What kind of printer do you use?? Info please..LOL

My Laser is in the shop getting a new fuser installed...it's four years old so I guess I'm doing pretty good with it....sure wish I could get PINK toner for it! ♥

So glad you stopped by for a visit..I always love the hear the joy in your voice....yes, I can hear it! How nice it is..

You have too many wonderful things today but the ink and RIBBONS I remember. I am a hopeless collector of them new and old and like you I really wonder at times if some of the new ones are really recycled plastic....no kidding.

So when I find the good ones...they do come home with me.

Have a wonderful day,
Stephanie ♥

Your pink stuff is absolutely gorgeous! I love all the pink ribbon.

HPS! Saturday, Sunday, they both start with, 'S'! lol
Love your pink stuff! I've been using that 123 primer to transform things I'm picking up at flea markets. I just did an old mirror. I started out with pink paint then changed to black plum. It's a keeper! I gilded the edges and painted rose buds on the mirrored glass. I'll be posting pics of it soon.

Just getting around to the Pink Saturday posts. Tammy had a tea yesterday and didn't get much done. Tea was great.
Love your pink offerings. The tape dispenser is soooooo great. Why doesn't it have roses on it yet? I spray painted a stapler pink and added some bling to it. Love the two tone ribbon also. And that pillow is awesome. Have a great Sunday.
