~WHITE WHITE MY COTTAGE IS WHITE~

~VINTAGE PLATE HOLDER~

Today I'm sharing with you a few pics of a wee little corner in my bedroom.  Someday when I get a new camera or lens I hope to take better photos of the entire room!
~NEWER CHEST~

With our recent remodel, which included taking down the wall between our family room and dining room, I ended up having more wall decor than I could use.  I was sad at first as I didn't have a place for the vintage plate shelf I purchased a couple of years ago.  But with a little scouting around upstairs I found a little nook where it will work...at least for now.
 ~WHAT IS IT?~
(A VINTAGE GLOVE BOX!)

Now...I don't like anything  sticking out even a teensy weensy bit into a doorway but until I have more time to decide just where to put this small chest it's going to stay right where you see it!
 ~WHAT IS THIS?~

Any guess as to what this sweet old piece was originally manufactured for?
~ANOTHER LOOK~

How about now?  Any guesses?  My guy thought it was a cooler for butter because of the little tray on the inside...??????
~INSIDE VIEW~

Do you know yet?

GIVE UP????

It's a vintage French Enamel Lunchbox!  Isn't it fabulous????  I found it recently at a local shoppe and just had to bring it home with me.  It's white and has this wonderful old patina to it!!!!

It's a present from me to me! :)

My home is always changing...but honestly~I'm loving it more now than ever before!

Today I'm linking up again with:

Faded Charm for White Wednesday
Ivy and Elephants for What's It Wednesday

I'm off to paint and sew!  My brush and needle are calling my name!

Love to you...

The shelf sure has a lot of pretties on it! I see some old wedding pictures that are inspiration for me to get my mom and dad's framed that I just brought home at Easter time. Now I need one of my sweet in-laws, too. I have a shelf that was my grandmother's that would be perfect for a re-do! I'll have to wait for summer, though! Have fun working!♥♫

Just happened to drop by at the right time to see a new post, Sugar.

I did the same thing when we painted our walls pink and had a small remodel—had to give away a LOT of wall decor, cabinets, shelves, etc. But it was so "freeing", I can't say enough about scaling down.

I love the walls now that they are pink and don't cover them with too much, but Love Bunny would disagree with me. He's never right of course!!

xoxo,
Connie

I love these little peeks into your home! My guess was a vintage ice cream maker but a lunchbox is so much better...imagine carrying that off to work with you? How fun. You find the best stuff girlfriend..;j

wow, that French enamelware lunchbox is really cute. I'd love to have one of those someday. They're cute...and I'd actually use one of those, too. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :) :) :)

That looks perfect in your bedroom. that is one thing about changing things around..you never get tired of them being in the same old place. We live on the bay so the back of our house is mostly glass. That means a lot less wall to put things on...good and bad. But..what I have out the wall of glass is God given beauty! Blessings- xo Diana

Hello my friend... of course I KNEW that was a vintage glove box... as I have the plum colored one you made for me!!!... I was going to guess an old ammo box on the other one, but I like a vintage French lunch box better!... everything is just stunning!... sending you an email... xoxo Julie Marie
