~~~~PRECIOUS and PINK and TOTALLY CHIC~~~~ First Lady Apron
 ~ALWAYS FIRST LADY TO MY HUBSTER~
If you read one of my earlier posts from this week then you know my Mr. AGPMan was away on business in Washington, DC!  I'm happy to tell you his plane landed safe and sound last night and he pulled into the driveway of our La Chaumière de Briarwood in time for dinner!  I'm sooo happy to have my "BABER" of 32 years back home again!
 ~THE SWEETEST GIFT EVER~
Now...I'm make no secret about the fact that I'm a happily married girl!  I snagged an amazing man many, many years ago and he has never failed to bless me.  He knows I hate it when he has to travel and so on his return he almost always arrives back home bearing gifts.  Sometimes it's flirty lingerie (EEE GADS! Did I actually share that???) and sometimes it's flowers!  Lots of times it's some delectable treat like gourmet candy!  But, given the fact his wifey-girl is STILL ON WEIGHT WATCHERS (um...down 30 LBS now!) he knew better than to show up with anything fattening!  (Oh...by the way...he's lost 22 pounds himself and I'm sooo lovin' his new, OLD SELF!).
~FIRST LADY APRON~
After a lovely meal prepared by our daughter, Adrienne (both she AND her big brother, Brandon, are incredible cooks if you want to know the truth!!!), my guy presented me with this charming FIRST LADY APRON in a deep clear rose!  I'm over-the-moon IN LOVE WITH IT and couldn't wait to show it to you all!  Isn't it fabuloso and deliciously PINK?
YUMMO! YUMMO I SAY!
If you are wondering WHY I am blissfully happy in love and have been after so many years of marriage this is at least one of the reasons why!  It's always my guy's thoughtful "I LOVE YOU REMEMBRANCES"  that keep me forever mindful that even when someone marries young (I was only 19), when God is at the head of a marriage it's hard to go wrong...
Blessings for a lovely Spring Day!
Love to you~
Maybe it is being so loved that makes you so sweet?!? Or, maybe because you ARE sweet you are so loved?!? Kind of like -which came first the chicken or the egg, isn't it? What a blessing, Rebecca. I am always so happy for someone that is so blessed! xxoo Diana
That apron is beautiful and even more special as it was a gift from your hubby. I was married at 19 also and we have our 30th wedding anniversary coming up. God is also at the forefront of our lives.
If you both put Him at the center of the marriage, you really can't go wrong and it sounds like you both have! How very sweet of your hubster to bring you such goodies when he is away. Congratulations on such a good marriage. I hear of so many that aren't anymore, so it is a real treat when we hear things like this. Enjoy your girly apron!
Hi Becca Sue...
Sweet Spring Blessings to you!
Why you were just a baby when you married at 19...i was as well! grins. It's a great age to say i do.
Congrats on the weight loss!!! Wowza Award.
The apron's shade of pink is lovely. Sweeeeet what it says on it.
Appreciate prayer for my Mom, Edith. She's losing weight and not trying. In her case I think she may have cancer that has returned in her body.
A lot of girls didn't get sked to prom.....wouldn't this be a fun thing to have as an older gal...prom for older people...get all dressed up with flowers???
God bless you!
Rebecca,
I love it that you are still in LOCVE with your sweet hubby!!! I married mine when I was 16 & he 20! Oh how young, stupid, & broke we were. We didn't even know we were young,stupid & broke. After 40 years... he's my best friend. Enjoy the blessing we have been gifted. I made a quick dasy to OKC & didn't get to see anyone but, next time I would love to hook up! HUGS!
What a lovely apron. It is so sweet of your husband to remember you this way on his trips.
I just picked up an apron pattern on ebay that has several historic designs for aprons. I'll be making one and showing it on my blog...eventually! Hope your Sunday is blessed.
