To my Blogger friends...however many of you might still be out there~  I'm sitting here thinking...Oh my gosh...not sure I even remember how to do this!!!'s been a while now...

Honestly, I don't know where to begin...sitting here typing upon my old familiar keyboard feels a bit awkward.  I've been away from it for so very long - too long.   I'm struggling to begin...  I had to go back and look at my last blog post to even know where I had left off.  Life sometimes gets in the way of life if you're not careful.'s been a while now...
Oh...I think I already said that~

The past couple of years have been such a learning experience for me.  Lots of ups and downs with so much change...allota stuff to muddle through.  I've discovered I'm not all that good with change.
Still, the world offers up it's challenges sometimes, right?
I am pressing on.

I've been really busy working outside my home now that our kitchen remodel is finished and I can't begin to tell you how happy my Mr. AGP Man and I are that it's over.  It was such a big enormous job!  I've heard it's best to never say "never again"...but, I'm sayin' it.
Especially so when, right in the middle of a MAJOR project, the main source of your income comes to an end.
Never Again.  And I mean it.  My guy and I survived the beginning and ending of this massive makeover aka: overhaul.  It left us exhausted.
And we are still trying to recover.

Do-It-Yourself shows make it look so easy...and fast.

It's not!

I've haven't posted the final reveal pictures of what is now a beautiful Farmhouse Style Kitchen.  But, I will.
This week.
I promise.

I still have my Booth at Serendipity Market, in Edmond, Oklahoma, and it continues to take up a great deal of my time.  I finally re-opened my website and it's feels good to dip my toes back into the online business side of my life.  Kind of weird as I've been away from it as well~  But, strangely normal, too.
What is it that tugs us away from the things we claim to love?  I haven't figured that out yet...but I'm going to.
To all of you, my longtime personal, business and online friends, thank you so much for the notes and emails over the past several months (that ended up stretching into more than a year)...  Bless you for helping me...praying for me... and carrying some of burdens.
You know who you are.  And you are loved.

I will begin again.

Love to you~

Hey Ms. Rebecca,
So glad to see your new post. Beginnings are never easy, so take your time and ease back in to the flow of things. Looking forward to seeing your new kitchen and hearing about your life's journeys. I'm glad you are still doing what you love. Welcome back, my friend.

Rebecca Nelson said... sweet for you to come by after so long. Sometimes we have to let go of things we love...even if for a better focus on what we must do FIRST. That's where I've been. Doing my "I Have Tos" instead of my "I Want Tos". Blessings to you, friend. Rebecca

Good Morning Rebecca, It is good to see a post from you. I think of you quite often and wonder how you are doing. I am trying to catch up with friends this morning. My summer is being taken up with a 10 and 11 year old grandsons. I stay with the 11 year old while brother works. The 10 year old joins us off and on. I always like looking at pictures of your vintage items. What can I say. I like old things. Have a great day. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri friend Shirley

Oh, My Dear!! How I've missed you, and wished you well and happy, and hoped that you were just living every minute in that gorgeous new kitchen!

I've thought of you so often, in my own tiny pink kitchen, as I go about my little dailies, thinking that you were just settling in and arranging every thing Just So, and cooking up a storm, as well as having SO many gatherings in that marvelous new space.

So glad you're well and that you came through all the upsy-daisy and out the other side into the sunshine. My very best wishes and thoughts from the Heartland!!

I hadn't logged on to my email for a few days now and so I'm so glad I decided to scroll down to the bottom just to make sure I didn't miss anything because I've been waiting (and longing) for my 'Gather Ye Roses" update! Silly right? that an entry from a Blog/Internet friend should mean so much, but it does! Why? Because the person doing the writing has such a gift... well, has many gifts...all orchestrated from a love of God, love of family and love of life. And blessings and talent is just oozing from every word, picture and the sharing of oneself! No matter how many 'new beginnings' there are in your life Rebecca (and I hope there will be many more even! ) thank you for sharing them with us! Life is just a tad bit more wonderful when someone as creative and inspiring as you, cares enough to put love and thought into everything you do! And it is not easy to bare one's heart and soul into the blogisphere but it is appreciated more than you know! And looking at all your beautiful creations is an added bonus... seems to me, your Serendipity shop should be on St. George's Street in historic St Augustine, or even Worth Ave in Palm Beach! Well anyway Rebecca what can I say...welcome home dear friend!

Dearest Rebecca,
Welcome back! No at times it is not easy to do all that we love...
Time is also a limit and especially when struggling to get things done in and around our home.
Your photos show some lovely work; you're still very artful in creating!!!
Hugs and blessings to a new and happy week.
