~PRESSING ON THROUGH PHYSICAL CHALLENGES~

The healing of my shoulder/right arm has been challenging and sometimes beyond discouraging.  I'm continuing with physical therapy and I hope I will improve as the weeks move on.  I'm only able to do a tiny bit of computer work and no sewing...

Along with my arm, my needle and thread are completely at rest.
Honestly...I'm fighting to not become depressed over not being able to do what I love.  I just recently reopened my website only to have it sit, once again, half-full.

I hate that.
Still...I'm grateful for the tiny improvements made since our car accident and so happy our injuries weren't life-threatening.  It's caused a lot of chaos and disappointments and even pain in our lives...but we are pressing on!  I'm hoping with the therapy I won't have to have surgery...

Sharing with you today some past photos I hope will make yo smile.
Thank you for your thoughts and any prayers you can send up in my behalf.

Love to you...

Rebecca

Rebecca - So good to see your post. Sorry you are still having trouble with your shoulder but it does sound like it is improving some what. I know it is very frustrating to not be able to do the things you love to do. Praying for a complete and rapid recovery.

Once again, I am so sorry to learn that this is taking such a long time to heal. It's good that you're going to physio as that is the way to go for long-term relief.

I'm so sorry this has been such a trial Rebecca. It must be terribly disappointing to not be able to work with your hands creating your beauty. Your shop looks lovely! I hope and pray that your healing moves a long and that you'll be back to yourself soon.

Hugs and blessings to you..

Hi Rebecca...Sorry to hear of your pain and suffering! I will be praying God gives you relief! My husband had the same shoulder injury back several years ago! He did have the surgery and has never had any problems since! Just wanted to share...since the last time we talked, you shared with me about the diet you and Steven went on, and since I have dropped 53 pounds! I did low carb and low fat! You don't realize how you motivated me! We are planning a trip soon to your shop, if I can ever finish unpacking!!! We just moved 2 weeks ago into our new home! Getting to old for this Ha...Tell Mr Steve hello for us! Hugs to you!

Dearest Rebecca,
Blessings to you and yours... Life is never easy when something major affects our everyday life.
As for me, during several years surgery has affected my sales and plans and I'm trying to have my final sale by the end of this year and quitting entirely.
It is too much of a struggle to do it all. Pieter is aging and I'm not strong and with my advancing CKD I cannot take much protein so how can you perform all you would like to do?!
Sending you hugs and indeed remain positive, life goes on and we're still there; that's all what matters.

Rebecca, I have been out of the "blog world" for a while so did not know about your car wreck. I am sorry you and your family were hurt but thankful it wasn't worse. I always enjoy seeing your beautiful creations. Hopefully, you will soon heal and be able to create once again. I know how much you love that. Hope your day is a good one!

So sorry about your shoulder pain and being unable to create and blog. Like Vicki, I've been out of the blog world for quite some time. To tell the truth, I totally forget to look at my Blogger reading list. Anyway, I love seeing your past sewing and vintage projects in your shop again. I'll send prayers of love and light over the miles to you and your husband.
Take care,
Marrianna

Happy to see an up-date today. Slow and steady and you'll get there...I know all about limitations due to injury and found I had to focus on my "happy place" whatever that may be for you. Not one to sit idle, I found you can only watch so much tv! I re- discovered my love of reading through this difficult time and can truly say this helped me tremendously.
Keeping you in my prayers
Take care

Praying for complete healing from the Great Physician! Just read your post about the loss of your tote bag, will never understand why people steal, but know that whatever you create to fill that loss, will be even just as beautiful as the loss bag...blessings and healing for you & the rest of the family! Hugs..

It's hard to sit still when there is so much creativeness inside. One of my very favorite books was having a Mary Heart in a Martha World. Have you read it? When you come back to full speed it will only make you better and for that I'm praying for a very quick recovery.
Hugs
Becky
