HEALING SLOWLY...

Dear Friends~

I never thought my wee little blog would be reduced to an occasional update on my health...but I digress...here's the latest news on the aftermath of the car accident my hubby, daughter and I had in late May~

Hubby is doing better and so is our daughter, Adrienne.  I've been in physical therapy for a while now and still struggling to get back to 'normal'.  Finally, today I went back to my orthopedic doctor and I have to have another MRI on my neck before they can proceed with the next plan of action.

I'm beyond anxious and want to get back to work.  I fight off becoming moody every single day, but grateful I'm healing...even though it's taking a lot longer than I would like.

I hope to return to my blog and website work soon.  Fall days are coming...cooler crisp weather...

I can't wait to enjoy it!

Love to you~

Rebecca

I'm so glad you're healing and feeling like being here, if for but a brief while, for I think of you every day. I've been back and back to your archives, just looking my eyes full of the work and the beautifuls and the PROGRESSSSS and the budding of that gorgeous kitchen as it's bloomed into such a perfect, welcoming place.

Your pictures and words have been such a BRIGHT in some of my cluttery, chaos and mess days, and I so hope that you're taking a "taste of your own medicine," in the most magical sense. I cannot think of such a lovely therapy as to look back at the work of your own hands, and that of Mr. AGP, in all that you've created and accomplished.

And know that soon, those hands will be back to their full creative force, making and sewing and handling those delicate bits of lace, those wires and pipes and lumber as they're needed, those delightful spaces and items you both weave so well.

I hope you know how much you're thought of from WAY OVER HERE.

Rebecca, it has been awhile since we visited and I didn't realize what you have gone through. I'm so glad that you all are OK except for the lingering pain. The aftermath of a car accident can hide so many horrible injuries. You never know how much you will suffer. I hope you don't have to have surgery but I'm sure you will take anything that will help. I have never had to have a MRI but the thought of it makes me feel just like you did. You are a brave soul to have mastered it. Keep feeling better so you can get back fully to all the things you love to do..xxo Judy P.S. I have signed up to follow you by e-mail so can keep in touch..

I have so missed your beautiful blog. I hope you will have a complete recovery, both physically and emotionally. I remember how hard it was when I broke my wrist three years ago. It felt like things would never be the same. Blessings to you and your family.

Hugs, Jocelyn

Dearest Rebecca,
We never know what lies around the bend in life... It often is not going the way we dreamed it.
Planning we hardly can say but once we get such set-back it is a struggle indeed for staying afloat.
Wishing you further good healing and as hard as it is; keeping a positive attitude will lift our spirits and advance healing when body, mind and soul are all aligned.
Hope all of the family heal well and we also must admit that as we age, things take longer to heal.
Hugs and blessings,
Mariette

i think about you every day, hoping you're improving and resting and healing all the while.

Hope this wonderful FALL weather has helped---it's certainly been lovely here, and hope you the same sunny skies and colour and little CRISP coming in the air. Fall is always just so HOPEFUL and promising, somehow, and I wish all the promises for you.

Sweet lady, I was so sorry to find out you have been having health challenges! I seached through my "favorites" looking for your directions on decorating Christmas tree's found it, refreshed my memory and decided to pop in and say hello..and find you are struggling to recover. Get well soon! We are all rooting for you. Smile...it will all be behind you one of these days. I am reminded of you daily by my perfume bottle etc. Sending love and best wishes for a speedy recovery. NO one has the talent and taste in decor that you do! We are all so blessed to know you. God loves you and so do we!!

My heart dropped into my shoes when I read this. If you can drop me a line and let me know you are okay. xo Diana

Oh Rebecca, I'm so sorry. I don't blog as much as I used to and I can't find you on my newsfeed. I didn't realize you were having such a hard time. Oh my goodness, I'm sorry. I sure hope you are on the mend now. It's been a tough couple of years for you, I'd say. I got to thinking about you and looked you up. I will be praying for you.
