For the past several days I've been working in my studio putting the finishing touches on three new card and tag designs for my Shoppe.  I'll be adding them sometime today and hope you'll stop by and check them out when you have time!

 I wish you could see me when I learn how to do something new with my Paint Shop Pro X Program (I'm computer stupid so it's always a big deal!)...  I usually throw my head back and scream out in excitement and disbelief...

"ARE YOU KIDDIN' ME!???  NO WAY!!! I DID IT!

I've almost sold out of several of the first designs from early Spring and I will be discontinuing a few to make room for fun, new styles.  You all have blessed me so much and received my latest venture with open arms.  Thank you so much....

Now...before I scoot for the day I'd like to share something with you that I read yesterday that came packed with loads of encouragement!

  I don't know about you but I need a good healthy dose of it every single day!  

It's called "Don't Miss God's Answer" and it was written by Max Lucado...

"Just when the womb gets too old for babies, Sarah gets pregnant!

~VINTAGE FRENCH DOORS MAKE EVERYTHING LOVELY~

~Original Dining Room Opening~

Do you remember this mess?  This picture was taken at the beginning of our formal dining room remodel earlier this year.  I blogged about it here and here in case you want to refresh your memory!

~Mr. Fabulous Doing His Thing~

This room was once our formal living room.  But, as our family has grown we found we were in greater need of a larger dining room where we could share meals together and celebrate lives!  So...my Mr. AGPMan and I decided to shuffle some things around and the ending result made us both very proud.

~Doors In Place~

The last time I blogged about this room the French Doors were going up and the crown molding was being installed.

~All Painted Up~

Here they are finally painted.  The room is almost done now~  I still need to paint my table and finish the chairs and of COURSE I'm wanting to install hardwood floors.  That will come in time..carpet is NOT good to have under a table when you have a family like mine!

~Simply Lovely Now~

The French Doors and recessed ceiling are just what I've always wanted for this room.  The crown molding is gorgeous but I have to say that painting around all those tiny window frames made me NUTS!  Twenty squares of glass and each one had two sides to mask off...UGH.  Not fun!

~Love The Vintage Hardware~

These darling glass knobs were original to the doors.  But...only one side had them!  So...my guy moved the one knob from the back half of the one door to the front of the door that was missing the knob.  Now they match.  Makes sense?  On the back side he installed another set that matches.  Hope to find two fabulous face plates soon!

~Nydia Lozano Canvas Print~

My dear friend, Sweet Tea, convinced me to paint the frame out on this gorgeous Lozano Print.  Love it even more now!

Once my tables and chairs are finished I'll post pictures of the entire room!

~VINTAGE SEWING GRAPHIC...FREE FOR YOU~

~Antique Sewing Machine Graphic~

Last Summer I stumbled upon a fairly good Garage Sale and bought the Sewing Machine you see above.  Cabinet and all!  Last Christmas, after cleaning her up A LOT I sold her in my Shabby Cottage Booth at French Quarter Antiques in Oklahoma City.  The piece was fabulous and the lady who purchased her was planning on using it as a side table.  SWEET!   I did very well on the resale of her...but, it was the Instruction Manuel that I truly loved.  Although parts of it were beyond repair, some of the original graphics were in wonderful condition.  Also, tucked inside the Attachment Case was the Bill of Sale from 1886.  Can you imagine? Anyway, the new owner of this sweet old find didn't want the Ephemera and so I kept it.  The Sewing Machine (Receipt below) originally sold in the state of Rhode Island for $35.00.  It had ALL the attachments and was in beautiful condition when I found it!

Over the weekend I scanned in lots of aging images for my business and thought surely there were some who would be interested in a few of them as well!!!

I scanned the original graphic in at 300 DPI and so it should be wonderful for lots of your sweet projects.  I also cleaned up the one you see below and removed all the lettering and most of the directional arrows.  I hope you'll have fun enjoying it!

I love vintage paper goods and I'm fascinated by the artwork and scrolly designs from the late 1800's.  I'm quite sure the reproduced drawings you see above were originally hand done making them all the more delightfully sweet and charming!

Now...can you believe it is June 1st?  That means it's been a full six months since December 1st and the Christmas Decorating Craze began...  Six months until it all starts again! :)
