~LA BONNE VIE and Change is Good, too!~

~CHANGE IS GOOD~

I've been super busy in my studio and haven't been able to squeeze much time in for blog-visiting! I did manage to finish my new Header (Masthead) and that kept me really busy for several hours (and hours and hours and hours). Spring will be here before we know it and like many of you I'm excited about warmer temps and getting outside and digging in the dirt (gardening).

Oklahoma weather is not always kind during the winter. I love living in this gorgeous state...but not during the barren months of the year. I never look forward to hiding Easter Eggs in brown, crunchy grass that is void of even a hint of shamrock green. Growing up in Southern Cali there were colorful blooms everywhere by early March...not so here. We are happy if we see color by late April.

OK...back to the new Header.

If you don't like it please don't tell me. :)

I'd like to give a SHOUT OUT to Karen from "The Graphic Fairy"! The center frame that houses my "A Gathering of Thoughts" title came from her stash! Thank you, friend! I faithfully visit your blog every single day and I'm enjoying lots of your FREE Graphics! You are amazing!

I'm starting to understand why Website Designers make those big bucks. They have to know a lot of STUFF and they have to be really SMART! As it is I had to call my son (the Programmer) a gazillion times to help me. Between him and my Mr. AGPMan (the Analyst) they were able to tweak what I couldn't. I've decided the reason I don't learn faster is because my brain is already filled to capacity and learning things like a new computer design program makes it wanna crash and burn rather quickly. :)

I promise to get around and visit with you soon and answer those emails that are stacking up as well.

Blessings to you as you await the first beautiful bloom of the year...

I love your new header. You did a great job on it. My dad lives in Oklahoma and I lived there as a young girl. The grass can stay kinda brown for a long time, eh!!! Spring will be here soon.

Ohhhhh, Rebecca!!! This is the design that I loved most the other day ... & how SPECTACULAR BEAUTIFUL AWESOME DIVINE it is as your header ... you REALLY created a beauty here, sweetie. How on earth could anyone NOT like this design creation ... you have outdone yourself this time!!!

I know you are so busy with the lines you are creating for your new business venture, as you shared ... but ... MISS you terribly, sweet friend.

Well, we got 2" more snow yesterday, more snow coming in today & winds up to 50mph. As much as I love this gorgeous white flaky from above covering ... I may rethink that thought soon ... the spring flowers in the stores are starting to entice me to 'get in the dirt'.

Have a beautiful day. Love & hugs, Marydon

Hi Rebecca, Could you tell me if that graphic of the girl holding violet/lilac bouquet can be purchased? It is hard finding pretty images with purple for my future CQ project. She is adorable.
TIA

I like the new banner!
My hubs always tells me that someday I am going to add one more thing to my brain and it is going to shut down. He also says my brain is someplace he never wants to visit! Of course, I don't get it...I mean, doesn't everyone have a brain full of ideas, and crafts and dates, and...ok, I wore myself out thinking about it!

Dear Sweet Rebecca,
Of course I love the new blog header. Would be a perfect Calling Card - Business Card for my Heirloom sewing Business.
How I envy your having an in house tech support. ;-) I have had a Print shop Pro Publisher program for a few months and still can't figure out how to do the overlay of just an object. The 1 inch thick book of instructions could just as well be in Latin, can't understand most of it at all. LOL
My compliments to the designer !!!
XOXOXO, Carol

I LOVE your header and wish I could do that for myself. I am just afraid to try.

Everytime I read your comment on my silverware I laugh. You are shameless...worse than I am totally! My family is shaming me for not just giving the "poor man his 15.00 for it!" The whole family knows about it now and it is becomming a family joke on how Mom talked the guy into selling it for $10.00! And Sunday there is another big family birthday dinner...so I will have to listen to the laughter..once again! :)

My daughter said "Rebecca is right. You are doubling your money..HOW can you complain! I would take her deal before she changes her mind!" :):)
Hugs!!

Hi Rebecca: I love your new blog. It is as always, so you. I notice we were asking for a gift or two from my collections. You forgot to tell me which one you want. I want to give you your heart's desire. Except for the rose box of course, that is my heart's desire (LOL)! Blessings my dear friend. Martha

Love the new header dearie! And ditto on Graphic Fairy images - I have folders and folders full on my desktop! As for the techy stuff - I'm the same way, but that's how us artsy people are - our brains are just so full of creativity, we can't fit all the other stuff in.... LOL.

Don't like it??? Are you kidding??? It's absolutely gorgeous. I wish I could spruce my blog up like yours. It's gorgeous!

Gosh, you have to move to Vancouver. :-) Our magnolia, cherry and Japanese plum trees are blooming, as are our daffodils, tulips, roses, azaleas, rhododendrons, pansies, irises, lavender, heather, and yes -- even dandelions. Winter passed us by this year. :-)
