~WHAT HAPPENS AT NANA'S and Out of the Mouths of Babes~

After her daddy's big birthday party last night our Miss K stayed for a little sleepover here at Nana's house. She got up early this morning and then busied herself the entire day with things like rubber stamping (always exciting) and making homemade Valentine's Day Cards for her family. We had so much fun!

While I worked on some things for eBay our sweet girl entertained herself with piles of scrap white paper from her Papa's office and began to make her version of my hand painted signs.
When it got a BIT too quiet I went looking for Miss K to see what she was up to. This is what I found...

A little hand-drawn sign taped to my bedroom door (deckle edge and all) that simply said:

"What happens at Nana's house stays at Nana's house."

Hmmmmm...

I just LOVE that little girl. She knows my LIPS ARE SEALED...

Blessings to you as you remember not to sweat (or tattle about) the small stuff...

I am with her....!! When I would have my granddaughter stay overnight we would play dress up and she would get to wear lipstick and real makeup and she LOVED it...we NEVER told her daddy about it. He would not have approved.

We ate cupcakes for breakfast and all sorts of stuff like that, she never got to do at home.
WHAT ARE GRANDMA'S FOR OTHERWISE..except to spoil them.

LOVED IT. She is 25 years old now and STILL remembers "the good times" at Grandma's.

OH my she is just too precious for words. How darling and beautiful this granddaughter is...just like her Nana...what a cute sign she made...it is so much fun not knowing what they will do or say.
I do miss mine and now that she has Juvenile Diabetes I know my sleep overs with her by herself or not going to happen for maybe years down the road.
Love
Maggie
