~SWEET PINK CRYSTAL GOBLETS - Hurry To ROSS~

 ~FOLIES~
Cristal D'Arcques

Late in the afternoon on Sunday I made a quick run up to our neighborhood "Tuesday Morning" just to look around for a little bit.  I LOVE TM because I always find GREAT STUFF there.  From Italian Linens to Gourmet Cooking Utensils I seldom come away empty handed.  The store was having a clearance sale and Sunday was the last day to get half off the lowest marked price on their clearance items so there was no way I could stay away. :) :)
 ~WHAT A DEAL!  $7.99 for SIX~

Before heading home I decided to stop into our local "ROSS" mainly because it's right next door to TM.  I'm not  TOO CRAZY about the store in general although I have been known to snag a few great deals over the years.  The one in my town is pretty crummy and so I seldom stop in...
~HOW LOVELY ARE THESE?~

Anyway, up and down the aisles I went with my EMPTY Shopping Cart!  As I was going down the very last one before heading home I spied an oblong red box with all these colorful crystal goblets on the front.  What caught my eye first was the French Label and next was the PINK goblet shown on the far left side of the label.
~SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL~

Out of curiosity I opened up the box and guess what????  All six were PINK!  Well now...  The price of the box was $7.99 which seemed awfully low to me.  Since I wanted more than just six I did a quick scan of the remaining shelves and discovered another box hiding way up high on the top!
 ~SWOON~

After I got back home I hopped onto my computer and did a quick search of the company in hopes of finding out more about the manufacturer.  I found out they only sell to upscale gift shoppes (or Dept. Stores like Dilliard's, etc.) and they are generally sold alone or can be purchased in pre-boxed sets.  Retail price for the six was $40-$50.  I don't know where ROSS got the $15.00 price at the top of their label...hmmm...

I bought twelve goblets for $16.00!
Maybe those of you who LOVE PINK should scoot on down to your neighborhood ROSS and see if you can buy a set or two for yourself as well!  Betcha you're gonna LOVE THEM as much as I do!
~MAKE MINE PINK, Please!~

Blessings for a lovely Tuesday!

Love to you~

Bonjour Rebecca,
You bought beautiful pink glasses.

The Cristallerie d'Arques is a french manufacturer situated in the north of France.
Their products are generally sold in French supermarkets and home decorating shops.
This "cristallerie" is not as prestigious as "Cristallerie de Baccara" and their prices are far cheaper than this last one.
The glasses of d'Arques cost around 50/70 euros ($ 65/85) for 6 items.
They have a Luminarc range, a cheaper one.
Here is their website :

hope this helps. :o)

I love the goblets. You really did well!
I'm not a Ross fan either. There is something about the smell. BUT, this makes me want to make a trip over there today. In fact, think I'll make a trip to several places.
Thanks so much.
I envy anyone who likes pink. It just wasn't a color that was clearly welcomed in this household of men. Such a pretty color though.
Have a great day!

Oh Rebecaa... swoon is the right word for those! Okay now, I am heading over to our Ross as soon as it opens!!! Our Ross is kind of a crummy store too, but hey, I have been know to find treasures in dumpsters, so I will tough it out! I would love some of those beautiful goblets! So happy you and your family are safe, I read about your town's flooding yesterday... how sad. This has been such wacky weather everywhere... we had winds Saturday into Sunday with gusts over 100 mph... maybe next week when the Summer Solstice is here things will calm down... love to you, thanks again for the precious post on Miss K... xoxo Julie Marie

Actually, I LOVE Ross. It is probably my favorite store, as I can actually afford their dresses. Case in point...I got a beautiful designer sheath-type sundress for $14.99....same dress at JCPenney is $49.99. It is hit or miss, though. Most days it's hit...but there ARE those days when I can't find a single thing to try on.

Anyhow, today is my out and about day, and you can bet I am going to stop by Ross to see if I can find those GORGEOUS pink goblets. I recently changed my china pattern to a vintage one my grandmother used to use...it's cream colored, with pink roses and green leaves. Those goblets would go beautifully.

Thank you so much for the heads-up.

Sorry for such a long-winded comment...that is fairly typical with me.

Blessings,
Patti

They are practically giving them away is how I will justify buying more glasses when my husband wants to know where in the world I am going to put these. I am loving the PINK! thanks for the heads up!

Oh, how cute!!! You are not going to believe this, Rebecca... I was in Ross a while back, and I bought some BLUE ONES! LOL! I wish they had pink, but these were a very unusual shade of blue-green, very deep. I have nothing that matches, but I loved them so much I couldn't resist. Mr. Magpie loves them so it was a good day!

I'm thrilled for you that you got two sets of pink ones. YEA!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Would look great with pink lemonade in them. Be right over.
