VINTAGE LACE CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS - Romantic Keepsakes For You

~CHRISTMAS STOCKING FOR 2010~

Are any of you out there just a bit excited that Christmas is already so close?  Or, are you the kind that isn't thinking about it yet?
 ~VINTAGE IMAGE CHRISTMAS STOCKING~

Well...when you're in the gift-giving and decorative business like I am then you must think about it!  I have to plan early or the season begins and I don't have a thing to offer my customers.  I'm trying to squeeze in as many Stockings as possible for your consideration, but I just took my 4th GATHERING CASE TM (Train Case) order so I'm finding I'm one busy girl...

Being busy is a good thing!  I love it!

Do you remember last December when I showed you the personal Christmas Stockings I fashioned for my own home?   (Click the link to the original POST in case you want to go back and see them!) They were all done up in creams and whites and designed using vintage and antique laces, old buttons and fabulous vintage ribbons...  This year I'll be offering up a few similar styles on my A Gathering Place Website and I hope you'll stop in for a peek to see what's new.  Because they were made using mostly vintage trims, they are on the higher end of my keepsake offerings.  Still, I'm hoping you'll enjoy the sneak peak.  More are coming so stay tuned!
~ROMANTIC LACE STOCKING~

Thank you for visiting me again today!  I'll be lurking around blogland later this afternoon. but for now I'm headed back into my studio to work on finishing up several of the hand painted pretties I started on earlier in the week!

Hope your day is lovely and special!  Thanks again for stopping by...

Love to you...

I can only imagine how busy you are this time of year. I always get excited when the first of Nov. hits because it means my favorite holidays are going to be here soon. I know you will be sitting at your machine almost nonstop from now till then. So I'm sending you big hugs from here...

I am one of those that is not much into Christmas, and I am definitely not thinking about it much yet...except that we did take new family photos in late September so that we will have them for our Christmas letter this year.

Christmas lost alot of excitement for us when we moved away from family in the early 2000's. We had so many wonderful extended family activities, and getting by without them has been difficult for all of us. So, I actually kind of dread the holiday season. Plus, I don't like winter, so that makes Christmas even harder.

Not to be a pessimist, just responding to your question. I LOVE that Jesus came as a baby...I just don't enjoy the Christmas season...though I'm not a Scrooge and DO send cards and give gifts.

Love,
Patti
