~I'M GETTING MY PINK ON...One Tool At A Time!

 ~FABULOUS PINK TOOLS~

Since New Year's brought illness to me and my Mr. AGPMan I haven't had a second to even THINK about showing off to you what my Hubster gifted me for Christmas!  I am feeling a whole lot better this morning (Gosh!  I'm UP!  That's such a HUGE START!) and so I just had to brag just a tiny little bit about the FABULOUS PINK TOOLS I found under the Tree on Christmas morning!
 ~I'M IN PINK TOOL HEAVEN~

Now...as much as I'd like to believe that my loving hubbs of 32 years gifted me with this 2die4 Tool Case/Set out of the loving goodness of his HUGE HEART I don't believe that is the case!  If the truth be known I personally think his generosity has SOMETHING to do with the fact that I'm always BORROWING his good tools and then routinely NOT returning them back to their proper place.  I can tell you for certain THAT makes him absolutely NUTSO!
 ~ANYTHING I NEED IN IN THIS CASE~

I also think he secretly hopes I'll finally learn the true name of any given tool!  I do believe he is finally growing tired of me calling stuff by the wrong name.
Example:  I've always called a "putty knife" a "spatula" which I know for certain he thinks is totally WACKO! :)
~PINK POWER TOOLS ROCK~

Of all the things in the Case I'm most excited about the PINK HAMMER! :)  I'm sooooo going to use it this week!

~WhoooooHarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr~
~GREAT PINK PLIERS, too~

Now...one of the things that didn't arrive by Christmas Day was a set of Pink Screw Drivers.  If I understand correctly they were back-ordered and will be here sometime next week!
My guy honestly thinks of everything!

It feels SOOOO GOOD to be back amongst the living!  For a while there I was wondering if my life would EVAH BE AGAIN WHAT IT WAS!  The FLU is truly a terrible, terrible thing!  I'm going to try and visit as many of you this week as I can...gotta see what you've all been up to since I was 'down for the count'!

Thanks for hanging with me and for your thoughts and prayers!!  :)

Love to you this beautiful day...

Dear Sweet Rebecca,
LOVE the pink tools !!! I wonder if I bought myself a set of pink tools if my husband would stay out of my tool box? He is alway borrowing something (Just for a few minutes, LOL) and then not returning it when he is done. I am always having to search for my wire cutters and needle nose pliers. I don't really think the pink would stop him from borrowing though. The one thing he knows is off limits is my good Ginger sewing scissors !!! He has been threatened with major bodily harm if he touches them !!! LOL ;0)
Glad you and the hubs are on the mend. Take it slow getting back into the swing of thing. No relapses please !!!

Hugs, Carol

First...I am soooo happy you and Steve are both feeling much better.Don't over-do and have a relapse though...it can happen!
Second...what a precious, darling set of tools (and the pliers still on their way) and how very like Mr.AGPMan to think of something so very PERFECT for you!!! I hope YOU know more about using tools than I do..I know a screw driver from pliers, and that is about it!LOL
Even I would love the pink hammer..
ocassionally I do use one, like to hang something when I know secretly
if I ask my hubbs he is going to hang it WAY too high for me!!! It saves on having to ask him to PLEASE lower it...he never thinks it is too high and I think I hurt his feelings...LOL
Keep on getting better...
Warm hugs, Francy

Oh Rebecca, I absolutely adore your "pink" tools! My hubster is always borrowing my tools, but if they were pink, maybe he wouldn't! Haa! Your hubster did a really good job picking those out for you. I'm so glad you are feeling better!

Oh how I envy you. Pink tools. Maybe if I had pink tools when my father was alive we would not have had 'problems' about him getting into my tool box. I had my own toolbox including bolt cutters (for wire and thick silk flower stems) and even a crow bar (to get tent stakes out of the ground) and a miniature sledgehammer (for driving the stakes in the ground. I wish I had thought of just taking a spray paint to the tools.
Yours are just beautiful and I really love the cases. Hug that man an extra time just for being such a sweetheart.
Mary
