~~~~~BIG HUGS and LOVE TO YOU~~~~~
I've been away from my blog for a week and I've missed this part of my life more than I can tell you.
A BIG THANK YOU
to all of my bloggie friends who stopped by to
offer their prayers and well wishes for recovery from my medication mishap!
I'M FEELING ALMOST
back to normal and I'm looking forward to a good week.  I'll be back in my studio tomorrow and excited about returning to what I love!!!
I'm not going to say much about what I've experienced of late except this...
If you are prescribed medication and something
doesn't feel right then
TELL YOUR DOCTOR
or
CARE PROVIDER
right away!
Thank You!
Thank You!
 THANK YOU!
Again, your kindnesses to me meant so much!
On Saturday my hubby managed to get me OUT of my house for a romantic dinner out.  First real meal I felt like eating in almost a week (trust me, losing weight this way is NOT as enjoyable as following a Weight Watchers Healthy Eating Plan)!  My Mr. AGPMan and I headed north and dined at a romantic Italian restaurant in Tulsa.
Villa Ravenna had truly fabulous food and we had a wonderful time!  My camera did not do well in the dimmed lighting (sorry), but I did manage to snap a photo of the salad I chose as an appetizer.  Baby spinach with feta cheese, strawberries and pecans tossed in a light vinaigrette!  Yum!
  I'll be sharing some fun, new things with you this week!  A sweet idea for Harvest Cookies and a few more pics of my new bedroom makeover!  I found some fabric that MATCHES my COOL ELEGANCE paint and I can't wait to show you some of the pillows fashioned from that incredible find!
Blessings as a fresh, new season begins!
Happy Pumpkin Days!
Love to you...
~I'M GETTING MY PINK ON...One Tool At A Time!
 ~FABULOUS PINK TOOLS~
Since New Year's brought illness to me and my Mr. AGPMan I haven't had a second to even THINK about showing off to you what my Hubster gifted me for Christmas!  I am feeling a whole lot better this morning (Gosh!  I'm UP!  That's such a HUGE START!) and so I just had to brag just a tiny little bit about the FABULOUS PINK TOOLS I found under the Tree on Christmas morning!
 ~I'M IN PINK TOOL HEAVEN~
Now...as much as I'd like to believe that my loving hubbs of 32 years gifted me with this 2die4 Tool Case/Set out of the loving goodness of his HUGE HEART I don't believe that is the case!  If the truth be known I personally think his generosity has SOMETHING to do with the fact that I'm always BORROWING his good tools and then routinely NOT returning them back to their proper place.  I can tell you for certain THAT makes him absolutely NUTSO!
 ~ANYTHING I NEED IN IN THIS CASE~
I also think he secretly hopes I'll finally learn the true name of any given tool!  I do believe he is finally growing tired of me calling stuff by the wrong name.
 Example:  I've always called a "putty knife" a "spatula" which I know for certain he thinks is totally WACKO! :)
~PINK POWER TOOLS ROCK~
Of all the things in the Case I'm most excited about the PINK HAMMER! :)  I'm sooooo going to use it this week!
~WhoooooHarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr~
~GREAT PINK PLIERS, too~
Now...one of the things that didn't arrive by Christmas Day was a set of Pink Screw Drivers.  If I understand correctly they were back-ordered and will be here sometime next week!
My guy honestly thinks of everything!
It feels SOOOO GOOD to be back amongst the living!  For a while there I was wondering if my life would EVAH BE AGAIN WHAT IT WAS!  The FLU is truly a terrible, terrible thing!  I'm going to try and visit as many of you this week as I can...gotta see what you've all been up to since I was 'down for the count'!
Thanks for hanging with me and for your thoughts and prayers!!  :)
Love to you this beautiful day...
~GETTING BETTER and PRESSING ON~
I promise you...I am never, ever going to take my health for granted again.  After being down for the count nearly every day since just before New Year's Eve, I feel like I have a new-found appreciation for wellness and life without medication.
Just before Christmas I spent some time visiting my longtime neighbor of 18 years.  She is a retired schoolteacher and has been one of my dearest friends since moving into our La Chaumière de Briarwood back in July of '92.  A couple of years ago she developed a serious lung condition and if I understand her illness correctly, it is like having chronic pneumonia and her prognosis for a full recovery is slim.  Save for the healing touch of God she will never live life without the aid of added oxygen again.  I was shocked when I saw how her health had declined and how very fast how all we know in life can change due to illness.
This morning as I gulped down two very strong antibiotics and swigged the nastiest tasting of all cough medicines, I found renewed thankfulness in seeing an end to the flu-madness that has gripped our home (and bodies).
Thank you again for your notes and prayers.  I keep saying we've 'turned the corner' on this horrible bug and that I believe our worst days are now behind us.  I pray it is true.  I hope to be back on top of my life this week even though I'm taking things slow.   Still, given my nature I can't wait to be back in the full-swing of things and return to life as I know and love it.
My hubby did return to work today and somehow, that in and of itself, helps me to feel that all is right and good.
Blessings to you.  I've been missing you more than I can say.
Love to you this awesome Monday...
