~MERRY CHRISTMAS 2012~

Dear Friends...

Today is the Sunday before Christmas and I'm excited about attending church with my family for both the early morning and candlelight evening services.  I love singing all the old Christian Christmas Hymns and hearing the choir sing special holiday music.  I love hearing our Pastor speak and I always feel honored to partake in Communion.

I love Christmas and everything about it.

I love the baubles, bangles and beads and even the hustle and bustle that goes along with hunting down and choosing the perfect gifts for those I love.  I love the decorations and the sparkling lights and the hanging of the greens.  Mostly though, I love celebrating the birthday of my personal Savior, Jesus Christ.

I have all of what I need.  I hunger only for more of Him.

I have so much to be grateful for this year.  God has been so good to me and I'm thankful and so appreciative of His blessings.  I'm not quite sure just where He is leading me right now...but I'm trusting Him with my future days just the same.  I know He has placed a hunger deep inside my heart for something new, something different, I just can't put my finger on just what that is!  So...as I said I'm asking Him to lead me as I seek His purpose and direction for my life.

In early January I'm on track to begin my 5th year of blogging and honestly, at this moment, I believe I've shared all I can and all I know.  With both my hands scheduled for surgery on the 28th I'm hoping by the time I'm healed up (sure to be a few weeks plus!) I'll feel better about where I am, where I've been and where I am going.

While at church this morning I'll be praying for you!  May your Christmas be beautiful and your New Year blessed.

I wish for you good things and promise to share more soon.

Love to you...

I will keep you in my prayers for a wonderful Christmas with your family, Faith finding (or I should say the increase in faith that you are looking for). Not sure if I worded that right??? Also prayers that your surgery is very successful and you will be back to painting soon. Merry Christmas. Hugs, Teresa

Merry Christmas, Dearest Rebecca! to you and your family. Seeking God's will in your life will always turn out somewhat a miracle and you are in for good times! I always fall back on Jeremiah 29 at times like this because it makes God's will a promise of something good in your life, even thought during the "seeking process" things can be a little confusing at times. You are such a dear and I have enjoyed all of your posts and even some of your homemade goodness. Whatever path you travel down, I have been blessed to know you. Much love, Judy from AZ

Rebecca,

You will feel better after the healing time. You have a big load to bear right now and surely it takes its toll.

I think I understand about the years of blogging and the sharing. That is why I had to take a three month break and start again. I was completely stalled out!

Sending prayers for you and love.

Hi Rebecca, I hope your Christmas was beautiful and full of blessings to your heart in worship and praises of our newborn King!

Somehow I get the feeling you are leaving blogland. I read this post a couple of days ago and I got that feeling then too. Quickly I walked away from the computer, not liking this thought. But I again got the same vibe just now reading this. I will be praying that God gives you clear direction as you work through what tomorrow is to be. In the meantime, I pray for successful surgery and quick recovery. Just know you will be missed, my dear. And just an fyi, your posts are always interesting no matter the content...whether it is deep or simple as a thought of a bird outside the window...it doesn't matter. Your blog is like a note from a girlfriend and always looked forward to.

God bless you, Rebecca!
xoxo Carolyn

Dear Rebecca,
I think God is placing within his children, a hunger that is deeper than we have ever known. It is to prepare us for what is to come. I am reading, praying, and absorbing his word. It is like I have an urgency, that I cannot learn fast enough.
I am praying as I type for a total healing for you...I am praying for the surgeon, the OR staff and for you to have a peace that is beyond and above any peace you have known...the LORD'S PEACE. His angels will encamp around you. You are blessed going in the surgery door and blessed going out the door and back to your room.
To tell you the truth...I did not want to come back to blogging but the LORD INSISTED....I argued and told the Lord he would have to help me as I was having extreme trouble with google...the LORD did, praise God and he told me he would draw the people to read what HE DIRECTED ME TO WRITE...and what I write will become a Book of Lessons...now that would be a miracle
I will help you Rebecca in any way I can...why are they doing both hands at the same time and what are they doing...what hospital...how long will your hospital stay be
you can delete this after you read it
love to you and God's grace, mercy, and peace and may you heal at a rate so fast, they will say, surely, this is a miracle

Happy, happy New Year dear girlie... I trust you've zipped right through the surgery and are feeling just dandy. I had my right wrist done and my only regret is not having both of them done at the same time. It healed very quickly and the pain was minimal...

Hugs to you!
