What a child and what a lady! So many will never realize how we looked forward to Sat. mornings and her show. I've got some grands that have hair like she had. Hugs, Noreen
Some of my favorite times with my daughter have been watching Shirley Temple movies. We still quote them all the time. I was sad to see she had passed but she was a wonderful woman. And a great example.
Lovely tribute. She was exceptional as a child and went on to establish an exceptional diplomatic career as an adult. A role model for all. We were all blessed to have her entertain us and to represent us as well. A fine lady indeed.
Oh- I started crying when I heard the news. I can remember sitting on the arm of my dad's chair watching her and him telling me I was HIS little Shirley Temple. Gone-hard to believe all the people that have gone before us--some harder to lose than others. xo Diana
