The past two days I've been face deep in my studio working on restocking my suffering website and finishing up special orders for Fall Harvest Pillows.  I've so wanted to visit you all and have especially wanted to stop by and say a big personal THANK YOU to those of you who left a comment on my last Post.  I haven't made it back to very many of you but I PROMISE I will.  I've just had a super-busy week so far and haven't had much quality blog-time (did I just say that?)...

In the meantime I want you to know that your kind words of encouragement blessed me and my guy in the most profound way.  Thank you, thank you again!  I'll be sure to keep you updated on how things are going as we prepare for his schooling to begin.

Today and tomorrow I'll be sharing with you several sweet Fall-time graphics that I hope will work for you in your Autumn decor.  I've altered a few of them which is always so much fun!  The two vintage graphics above have been cleaned up and a border has been added.  Hopefully you can use them for something!  Come back in the morning to see even more.

Jenny & Linda 1996-1997

My big sister, Linda (whose given name is actually FAITH...it's a long story!) is celebrating another birthday today!  She is healing up from her accident from a couple months ago and we are still so thankful she wasn't killed.  The three of us girls don't have very many pics of us together as children (even less taken with our Bro!) and the ones of us as young adults I think I've already shared (visit my post from last year to see LOTS of pictures!).  I did however find this one!  I think it was taken around 1996 or 1997!  I can KINDA tell by my BIG HAIR and the furniture in the background (long before romantic cottage decor!). :) :)

First...thank you for all the HYDRANGEA DRYING TIPS you sent my way yesterday and for putting up with my drama-filled muse! :)  Most of you who commented agreed on one of two ways I might successfully preserve my beautiful blooms!  Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!  I will keep you posted on how I do!

I took a peek outside at my backyard garden yesterday evening and I'm not sure I'll have another chance to even TRY using any of your TIPS this year.  Presently both my bushes (even though they DO have the right amounts of sun and shade) don't APPEAR to have survived the ravages of our Oklahoma heatwave...  I'm hoping they will resurrect themselves in the Spring...we'll see!

I'll be sure to save my $$$ in one of these sweet little piggies just in case they don't make it!  Those two Hydrangea Bushes set me back a whopping fifty buckaroos and that's enough to make even the greenyiest of green thumbs want to toss out their trusty spade... :)

Now...sorry for the short POST for today but I'm enjoying being BACK in my studio where I'm finishing up several of the painted pretties I started many moons ago...

Just a little note this morning to thank you for your kind thoughts and comments yesterday regarding the changes in my life!  Each visit with me meant more than I can say...  I feel great about where I'm going and what I'm doing and for the first time in many months I totally zonked out last night and slept very, very well.

De-stressing is a good thing.

And so is NOT running ahead of God.

I spent most of the weekend going through a great deal of shoppe/booth merchandise and much of it you will eventually see offered for sale on-line.  It's going to take me a bit to go through it all but I'll get there.  I use to collect vintage sewing patterns from the 1930's-1970's (lots of children's, too) and many will be sold off in LOTS on eBay.  Things like vintage pink rose plates, etc. will be offered on my website later this week and I hope you'll take some time to check them all out.  Way too many things to try and fit them all back into my home.

Christmas in July was a great success and thank you so much for ALL the purchases and special orders (wow...all those Stockings and Pillows!) you sent my way.  I will absolutely be doing it again next year!

Today I will be working in my studio.  I'm FINALLY getting back to painting some sweet new things that have been on the back burner for far too long.  It feels great to be able to focus on one business and to not feel so incredibly scattered and overwhelmed.

Thank you again for blessing me and taking the time to offer up such loving words.
