~PINK SATURDAY - Shabby Cottage Pink Rides Again~

~MORE THAN A SWEET PINK READ~
Vintage Mary Ware Books

OK all you PINK LOVIN' PEEPS!  It's time for another PINK SATURDAY EXTRAVAGANZA!  Thank you to Miss Beverly of How Sweet The Sound for hosting this fun PARTEE for all of us in here in Blogland!  Our little get-together is all because of her!!!  Now...I hope you'll stop by and visit as many of the participants this week as possible...

First...the books you see above are simply the SWEETEST little things.  I actually have about eight of them.  Fabulous on the  inside and PINK on the outside.  Yummers!
 ~P STANDS FOR PINK~

Wow!  I never knew that!  No kidding!? :)  This is a FOR REAL chapter inside one of the books above!  SWEET!
~DARLING  PINK ROSE BABY BIB~

This beautiful crocheted Baby Bib was made by none other than my VERY talented Mother.  She also makes Baby Bottle Covers that match.  This is my very favorite keepsake to give as a baby gift in the whole wide world.  But...since I don't know HOW to crochet (gAsP!) I have to bribe my Momma to make them for me!  (Hi Mom xo!) :)

~
~VINTAGE FRENCH LACE...IN PINK~

Now I love old lace.  I do!  I do!  I do!  So when I found an entire bolt of this pretty stuff complete with the Made in France label still attached to the cardboard I sorta went NuT-sO!  The excitement nearly sent me to heaven a LITTLE EARLY! :)

~VINTAGE COLONIAL PINK SOAP BOX~

This sweet old box was found at a local garage sale for ten cents.  TEN CENTS!  Yippee Skippee!

~VINTAGE PINK SILK ROSES~

This darling little pair of aging silk roses was found on the driveway of an estate sale.  I think they fell off of an old prom dress or something.  No one claimed the pretty duo and so I got to keep them for NUTIN'! :)

  ~PINK ROSE HAT BOXES~

I visited a local shoppe last year and bought this fabulous pair of hand crafted hat boxes!
"Heaven!  I'm in Heaven..."

~TEA and ROSES~

I fell in love with this pretty Sandy Lynam Clough print back in the late 80's.  Still love it twenty years later!

AND...LAST BUT NOT LEAST...
~PB and JENNY~

HAHAHAHHAHAHA!

Have a wonderful day celebrating all things PINK and WONDERFUL!  I'm hitting the estate sale trail, Oklahoma Style! I'll be back to visit you and all your pink pretties when I return!

Love to you...

I don't even know where to start! Fabulous post. I love Sandy Lyman Clough also and have one of her framed prints in my dining room. I never tire of it. The bib your mother made is adorable. (Does she sell them?) I've never seen such sweet pink books. The hat boxes are very pretty and the PB & J is hillarious! Great post! Connie (P.S. I missed another deadline for PS, but I'll try to do better next week. In the meantime I'll enjoy other's posts)

I am beginning to love pink more and more. I have never been a pink girl -- I love color and excitement - fast cars. flying by the seat of my pants to name just a few. But after following blogs and ebay I am coming around to pinks and roses - just a little - I know I am outvoted - so decided to try at this late date to sort of join the crowd....I have painted lots of pink roses and using lots of pinks in girly things for my GiftShow in early October. I do not live where they have estate sales or you can go junking and find worthwhile things, but I love to read about them thru all of you. Have fun today..Blessings, Pasuline

I LOVED this post and now I am all wondering if I shouldn't just pitch the red and go "PINK".
Nahhh...I have got to have red around me...I've got to..but then again...so half the house is pink and half rich deep reds..with pinks of course.
Seeing your things is liken to touching a butterfly's wing...so is knowing you...

The baby bib is SO precious. Your Mom is quite talented . My Mom crochets as well and I am always requesting something :) I wish I could crochet ...maybe someday...it's on my list of things to accomplish...with about 1,000 other things!
Happy Pink Saturday (on Sunday) sweet friend!
Have fun treasure hunting!

Happy PiNk, Rebecca...

What great finds...I came across a partial tiny bolt of French lace in a tiny antique shop not too long ago..it's kind of a butter cream shade on a lavender paper bolt.

Those roses are divine!! How lucky are you!? :0)

Thank so much for sharing such great PiNk stuff...I love all of it.

Have a wonderful day,
Stephanie ♥

Rebecca~what loveley pinkness.
The Pepto gave me a chuckle. That pretty pink color is so disguising of the icky taste inside...it doesn't taste like bubblegum or cotton candy in the least,(teehee)!!

Sweet wishes,
Sara

Wonderful treasures, Rebecca! But it scared me when I first saw that PB bottle. I thought that meant you weren't feeling well. Glad to know you were just teasing.

I'm enjoying going through all of your posts. I have been MIA and hope to be back soon. Am still out shopping for your prize. ;-)
