~SO LONG SUMMER of TWENTY-TWELVE~

This will be my last week with my Miss K!  In a few days she will start 4th grade and bid another childhood summer good-bye.  I'm hoping we made enough memories to last her lifetime.  She's such a blessing to me.

Come November this precious little girl will turn ten years old.  I can't believe it's been a decade since we first found out she was on her way...  The years have passed by with lightening speed.  When we've had her as long as she's already been on this earth she will be twenty years old.  All the more reason for us to enjoy these fleeting days of her girlhood~  I love all the ages she's been...but being
almost 10
has got to be one of the best!
For those of you who have followed my blog you've been able to watch her grow and bloom over the years into such a beautiful young girl.  When I first started blogging (This January I'll begin my 5th year) she was only 6 years old and had just started Kindergarten.  She was so tiny and even though she's still just a wisp of thing she's as lovely as ever.

I'll be in and out this week not only because Miss K is with me, but also because I my guy finally got my new Dell Laptop up and running and I'm TRYING to figure things out.  It's soooo fabulous (and super fast...LOVIN' THAT!), but I have lots of junk to delete, upload and reorganize.  I'd be LOST without my Mr. AGPMan, one of the two computer gurus in our family.  When I get close to FREAK-OUT stage, he never fails to makes me smile.  When I called him this morning screaming out for help he answered his cell phone with this:

"HELLO!
Welcome to Nelson's Drama-Momma
TECH SUPPORT!
How can I help you today???"

(He's SUCH A DORK!)
(Might be a TINY BIT true!)

Hope your Monday is fabulous.
Love to you...

Miss Caroline just turned 2 and we can't wait to be able to have her over here for a week at a time. It'll be a few years I think but I still love having her on Skype and posting her "dance" routines on my blog. She's such a funny little thing. Very tiny like her mum, my granddaughter, but going to be tall I think. With the new great-granddaughter due to arrive at the end of this year it seems we are so blessed to see our greats, sugar! They are "funner" than the grands. I hold them in my heart so dearly it's painful to leave them when we visit. So I know of what you speak, my friend, I KNOW!!
xoxo,
Connie

Love this special last week with Miss K. She has such pretty almond shaped eyes and a beautiful mouth. Happy and naughty at the same time. Guess she's an alert kid.

I think she is beautiful, just like her grandma!

It may be sad to say good-bye to summer...and to her younger childhood days...but there is still lots of fun ahead for the two of you!

May God continue to watch over your sweet Miss K girl as she returns to school.

Love, Linda @ Truthful Tidbits

What do you mean? So long summer?!! This heat has me so weary I want (NEED) some cooler summer weather so I can relax because everything would then "get done"! Miss K's school and mine must think going back in August is a good thing. That kind of thinking comes from "administrators"- I love mine, but it's the middle of August here in Colorado. (Do you go by the same calendar that we do?) All the best to her as she begins a new adventure. Enjoy the rest of the week!♥♫

Your granddaughter is such a doll. It is so special to her life that she has the relationship with you she does, as it is to yours. Enjoy her! Good luck with your computer :)

What a sweet girl she is! And she looks so much like her Grammy! Seriously!

Is your carpel tunnel feeling better?

I am still on a blogging break but wanted to come and visit.

I hope my blog to be up soon but I still have that book project to finish, so I am not sure how much longer!

Can't believe that summer is over here either. Our youngest turned 11 just over a week ago, and seems to us like the time flew by too. Other than swimming, there were not too many fun memories of this summer with the extreme heat and drought in our part of the country. It was fun to be able to stay up with him and watch movies or play games and hang out. None of us are looking forward to school ending our last precious days of summer. It is coming fast though, so we are trying to enjoy every last moment. Wishing we could have found a way to take a vacation this year, but it just wasn't in the cards for us. Hopefully next year though!! Have fun with your daughter in these dog days of summer. Look forward to seeing some of your lovely creations coming up on your blog.

Lovely to spend so much time with your little grand daughter. She looks so much like you I think. I know what you mean about husbands being a blessing with the 'manly' help they give us. Last night I was blowdrying my hair and got electrocuted. Black burn mark on my hand. There were flames, sparks and an exploding sound. I threw the hairdryer to the floor and then ran outside to try and turn the power off at the meter box and couldn't flip the switch so had to phone hubby at work. He came home and sorted it all out.

Gotta love a dork like that!;>) MY "dork" can't fix anything! lol ...but I love him anyway!

I am so happy that you have such hands on with Little Miss K. Aren't we blessed? Our Lulu turns 10 next week. I just cannot believe where the years have gone. She was like a little baby bird when she was born...all arms and legs and now she is still all arms and legs.

Savor every single moment with her and she will come back to bless you someday with children of her own and a lot of "remember when" stories. Love to you, Rebecca- xo Diana

LOVE the pictures of Miss K...she
has grown up so much since you first started blogging and showing us pictures of her. She is such a beautiful little girl,so precious
and full of life!!...Fourth grade and ten years old??? Oh, my...time is flying by!!
You have certainly played a large part in being a "hands-on" Nana to this darling child. I know she has memories stored up to last her a life-time. That is so wonderful!!
When you are old (?? YOU ???) and she is grown up, think of all the memories you two share!! She won't ever forget her special times with her Nana!
I am glad you got your new laptop up and running! I have no idea what-all you are talking about though!!
I have a laptop but it must not have all the bells and whistles yours has...and it is several yers old...I just thank GOD daily that I learned to do what I can do!! LOL
Your Mr.AGPMan does have a sense of humor.....he is such a cutie!!
Hope you enjoy your time left with your girl and count your blessings when you say your prayers..I have not seen my girls the whole long summer....and they live in town.....
Sending hugs your way, and love too......Francy
