~PINK SATURDAY...More Vintage Pink Postcards For You~

~LOVED PINK IN 1978, TOO!~

Happy Pink Saturday to all of you who are absolutely in LOVE with the color PINK!  I hope you'll stop by and visit the beautiful blog of our Hostess, Miss Beverly from HOW SWEET THE SOUND!  While you're there make sure to take a peek at the list of all the PINK SATURDAY participants!  You are sure to be inspired by all the pink beauty you will find!  It's always so much fun!

The picture you see above was taken on my wedding day!  I loved pink even then...  I wasn't quite 20 years old on the day I married my beloved.  It's hard for me to believe that all of my bridesmaids (and me!) are Nana's now!  I'll be sharing more of my wedding day photos with you next month when my Mr. AGPMan and I celebrate our anniversary.  By the way...my big sister, Linda, is kneeling in front of me holding my garter.  She's always been so beautiful to me!
~TRUE LOVE~
(left click onto pics to enlarge~then you can right click and copy them!)

Now...I actually had a different Pink Saturday Post planned for you but my camera decided to FREAK OUT on me and I can't figure out what is causing her such distress!  I'm quite sure I turned some tiny little setting or something but I can't figure out how to fix what I did!
~THOUGHTS of THEE~

Since I couldn't snap pics of my pink pretties I've opted instead to share with you three more vintage postcards from my ever growing collection!  I've re-colorized them for you in PINK and I'm hoping you'll find something FUN to make with them!
~FAITHFULNESS~

I actually love these old postcards even more reworked in a tone on tone style than in their original condition!  Hope you will love them, too!

Lastly...I'm in the middle of a GIVEAWAY and I hope you'll stop by and check it out!  It ends on the 12th of August and somebody is going to win a couple of really sweet (and PINK) pretties from my A Gathering Place website.  Click HERE for find out more!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I love it when you visit!

We are having a TAX FREE WEEKEND here in the fabulous state of Oklahoma so I'll be out shopping with my girl and my grandgirl for new school clothes!  It's going to be a great day!

Love to you~

A tax free day! Anything with the word free in it is good! I went school supply shopping with my youngest a Senior in high school. I looked around at all the frantic mothers and kids grabbing everything. I saw a friend, she said this was much more fun when I picked everything out for her. (Her daughter about in the 4th grade.) I said you know this is Jessica's last year and I am kind of enjoying this. Then I realized---COLLEGE!! School supplies will seem insignificant compared to those expenditures!

OMG "Sista" we wore almost those same dresses for my sisters wedding back in the 70's...only...we had coordinating "floppy hats" and the shoes were huge platform wedgies. So much fun going down memory lane ;) Happy Pink Saturday and have a wonderful weekend. Fondly, Roberta

Hi Rebecca,
I am so glad to meet you and thank you so much for joining my journey with me. I would LOVE to hear some of your stories! Looking forward to getting to know you better.

And you were a beautiful bride. My hubby and I just celebrated our 45th last Saturday and I was 20 when we got married. So there, that's pretty easy to figure out, huh? ha ha

I lived in Tulsa for 30 years so we weren't very far apart. But we moved back to Arkansas 6 years ago when we retired.

Your blog is beautiful!

God bless you richly,
Dianne
