PRAYERS FOR THE UNEXPECTED...but Mr. Frosty's Coming Soon!

~GET WELL, ADRIENNE~

Yesterday my daughter (yes, the one who just had a birthday) was taken to hospital in the middle of the night.  She is doing OK and is going to be fine but I have to tell you the experience took the wind out of my sails for a bit.  This Momma doesn't do well when her children are sick...even though they are both grown up now.  I fare even worse when something comes up that is unexpected and I'm awakened at 2AM...  Still, God's hand of protection continues to be upon my beautiful girl and although she's in some pain, she will recover soon.

Thank you in advance for your prayers...

I'll try and be back later with pictures of Mr. Frosty (from yesterday).  I have a doctor's appointment this morning as well as lots of shipments to get out, too!  So~taking pictures of Frosty's new duds is on the back burner for the moment.  But, I promise I'll upload them later tonight or in the morning!

Blessings and love to you for a wonderful day...

I have to ask if you know a pastor by the name of Day? I'll explain better if you say you do :)

The phone call in the middle of the night is one we all fear. God is with us but still that kind of jolt when our 'babies' are concerned takes a bit more soothing from The LORD. Happy to hear she is mending and all will soon be right again.

She definitely will be in my prayers. We all dread those late night calls and it makes us feel so helpless. Take care and have a blessed day.

Oh, Rebecca...when the phone rings in the middle of the night, we always fear the worst, don't we? Because, usually there IS something wrong! I hope your sweet daughter is recuperating well and will soon be up and around again. Prayers go out for her. I know exactly how you feel about being terrified when it is your CHILD (no matter their age) that is ill...you always will worry about them.
Forget "Frosty" for a few days..he is not as important as your family is and believe me, with temps nearing the high 80's now and thunderstorms along with the heat, a snowman is the last thing on my mind today!! LOL But, crazy weather, I think it is going to be 34 degrees by tomorow night! We'll enjoy seeing him then!!
Seriously, take care of that sweetie of yours and all the other needs you have before you...we all
understand!
Love and prayers, Francy

It doesn't matter if she is grown, you are her Mama & will always worry. I am in my 50's & my Mother tells me I will always be her baby no matter how old I am.
I hope Adrienne has a speedy recovery.

I know exactly the feeling of being called to the hospital for you child. Mine was 37 and was in the afternoon. His newly engaged gal called. When got there he was in intensive care..with tubes all over him...Still a nightmare to me. After a stint in the artery to the kidney he is so far okay..now since having our Hattie Jane 2 1/2yrs later.I worry so even now.He is my only child. Well hope Adriane is okay and well.
