SWEET PINK CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS and Timeless Trims

~VINTAGE EPHEMERA STOCKING~
(Sweet Graphics From The Graphics Fairy)

Well...how many of you have your Christmas Tree(s) up and are ready for the Season of Light to begin?  I'm just now getting started.  I'm super behind this year.  Normally I have our entire house decorated by now!  What is happening to me?  I think my "Get-Up-And-Get-Going" actually "Got-Up-And-Left" . :) Argh!

Still...I've been a busy bee!  I must say I'm excited to dig-in today!  Our Christmas Tree is going in a different place this year so that will definitely change things up a bit!
 ~SWEET and PETITE STOCKING~
Vintage Lace and Buttons

Yesterday my guy worked our our house-lights just like he did last year!!!!  It's always so fun to see our La Chaumière de Briarwood 'Don her Merry Apparel'.
 ~ICY PINK STOCKING~
Vintage Ribbons and Old Jingle, too!

Last night I did A LITTLE Blog visiting and stopped in for a peek at one of my FAVORITE BLOGS!  You all know this fabulous gal, no doubt!  It is Karen from The Graphics Fairy and week after week this delightfully sweet blogger uploads endless vintage graphics and ephemera for FREE!

I snagged a charming French Cologne Label from her Sunday Post and used it to create the petite little Christmas Stocking you see at the top.  I really LOVE that old French Label and I'm going to use it in some other things as well!  That got me started and I ended up making two other petite stockings as well!   Isn't working with vintage and aging graphics fun?  Go check out Miss Karen's place!  You're sure to find something wonderful to use for your holiday decorating and gift-giving!

OK peeps...I'm back in the studio and then later today I'll be working on decorating my home.  Hoping this beautiful Monday morning finds you all happy and well.
Love to you...

LOVE the little stockings. I too have a lack of GO!!! I just can't seem to get into the groove. I would rather read blogs & dream of doing all these amazing things!!! Enjoy the process. I think we all forget that. HUGS!

I've been working on decorating and it hasn't turned out like I want. It's been a hard year to get in the celebration mode. I hope your week is productive and enjoyable at the same time!

How fun to see the lights going up! It's always fun to change the location of the Christmas tree - makes you feel like you live in a whole different house! You know, whenever I move houses one of my first thoughts is... where will the Christmas tree go? I don't decorate until about the 20th now but I so love seeing the houses of my neighborhood - one by one - get ready for the great season!
Many blessings!

Hi Rebecca... I am finished with mine, I think!... I posted my all PINK tree today, and I love it!... thanks for the words of support about my roses being in Jo~Anne's magazine... I DO know you love them too, and I WILL send you a little start next year when they begin to take off and grow... love to you... happy decorating!... xoxo Julie Marie (The stockings are beautiful!)

Our tree will go up earlier this year because it takes me longer to decorate it. I'm trying to get Love Bunny to buy me a white one. We'll see, sugar! I win most battles though.

Becca, if you want to see the most darling great granddaughter in the world, outside of Miss K, of course, hop on over. I swear she's growing like a weed. Aren't grandkids and great granddaughters(!) the best?

Isn't it funny how just all of a sudden we can get in the Christmas mood? Putting up that stocking, hanging that ornament, or even baking those homemade goodies! Woooo, come on Christmas! Have fun decorating today!
