~HAPPY PINK SATURDAY - VINTAGE APRON MOTHER'S DAY CARDS~

~VINTAGE APRON GREETING CARDS~

Happy PINK SATURDAY!  Gosh...it's been a long time since I took part in this fun linky-party!  Thank you Miss Beverly of How Sweet The Sound for being such a wonderful host to all of us pink-loving-gals!  You bless us all!
Now...If you popped in yesterday you saw my little Vintage Apron Post showcasing several old sewing patterns.  Today I want to give you just a sneak peak of what I've been working on...  I've been having way too much fun coming up with new designs for Mother's Day using vintage apron graphics!  I'm happy today to unveil three of our latest original altered art Greeting Cards from my A Gathering Place Shoppe!  I hope to have them uploaded early this next week!!!

Hope you have an awesome PINK LOVIN' DAY today!  I'll be off helping my husby work in our yard and planting my favorite PINK FLOWERS!

Blessings to you~

You know I loved your Vintage Apron Post yesterday. It was filled with ~Nostalgia~. I still remember my mother using her apron to wipe the tears when my brother & I fell down from having those horrid "clamp-on-the-shoe" rollerskates.

Now the Mother Day Cards..OMG..I just marvel at all your fresh, creative ideas. You are one multi-talented woman. Enjoyed our Friday chat :)

Hi Dear Sweet Rebecca,
I LOVE your Mother's Day cards--they are perfection!!!
The first card I ever made my mom for Mother's Day had an apron on it...I made it at church...seeing yours brings back memories of a little girl who loved to create even way back then...

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Sister Cards, Auntie Cards and FRIENDS Mother's Day Cards are all in the works. Hope to have them up this week. Only a few images I found are working...but changing the sentiment is EASY!

You bless me girly. Still not sure I don't want to drive the extra 5 hours to meet for lunch. Wouldn't that be wonderful? I'll keep you posted. OK? This may be my only chance...and we will be SOOOOO CLOSE!

Love you girly~

Hi Rebecca
As someone that has always worn an apron (just call me June Cleaver) I just adore these cards. I have several styles of aprons which are all full, by the way, and my favourite is one with lace on it.

I lost you!!!! When I accidentally deleted my list of people I follow..... I thought I'd gotten everyone back on my list. I thought today, you sure haven't posted in a long time... then I looked.... and I'd lost you. Sure glad I found you and have you back again.

I love the apron patterns... reminds me of my childhood.

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY REBECCA,
These are so precious...I love them. I also read your post with the apron patterns...it so reminded me of my little grandma that was never without an apron. There is something about an apron that produces the thoughts of security.
Thanks for stopping by to see me...it always brightens my day
Have fun at the ballet...I love to go to the ballet.
Lots of hugs
Have A Sugar Sweet Day

Rebecca, the apron card is beyond precious! What a wonderful idea you had you girlie girl.

I want to add one more thing . . . you spoke the other day about not knowing your life purpose. May I say for me, you give me more inspiration than you will ever know. I'm sure everyone feels that way, too. I think you have a ministry of beauty, love and sweetness.

I have searched forever for a kindred spirit in how they dress their home and present themselves to the world. You are truly a role model and a wonderful person inside and out.

Please don't let yourself burn out. Rest when you feel God's touch saying, "Slow down little girl and refresh".

Much care,

Toy

Oh my goodness Rebecca, I love those cards! I don't know which one I like the best. I just looked at your vintage apron patterns and they are so neat. Do you know that is the very first thing I made on a sewing machine? A sweet little apron in Home Ec. Have a great week! Nan

I am continuing on with my "Happy Dance" knowing you will have cards with the Apron images by changing the sentiments to read Aunties, Friends, etc..I am in line with the other Pink Peeps waiting for the download.
You have had so many beautiful, complimentary Posts but the one from Ms. Toy really captured my heart. Your Ministry means so much to so many.
